June 5,2010 Relocation Cruise

One week from right this moment we should be in the air somewhere approaching the coast of Great Britain on our way to Paris.

My flight is getting more and more full...so I need some good Non-Rev vibes!!:goodvibes

same here, exactly 11 days for us and we'll have taken off from stansted and on the way to barcelona!

It's NEXT WEEK!!! :banana::banana:

My thoughts are now turning to packing.....Kids pretty much sorted, but me and DH need a few new bits. I have a plan that i'm going to pack enough to get us through sat/sun, then go to tax free crazy in Gibralter; Marks and Spencer and Topshop-what more do you need?! That will then eliminate my stress of meeting EasyJets tough baggage limitations!

Wishing everyone who is travelling over the next few days a safe and uneventful journey :goodvibes

i havent even started thinking about packing. probably wont get round to packing til next thursday :scared1:

Hey is anybody on facebook?

yeah i am,
search for disneykaren (this should bring me up, let me know if it doesnt)

Am I panicking unnecessarily??
Virgin cruises have not yet sent my tickets or labels...
Has anyone who booked via virgin had theirs?
Thanks:sad2:

Flying Non Rev, you are a brave person, My dad is retired UAL and Brother in Law Retired Delta, I have played the non rev game all my life and have seen the golden age of air travel die. But it was fun and travel was and is a big part of my life. My signature about adventure and ordeal says it all .

Fingers crossed for ya that the loads are light.

My husband's best friend is an international reserve pilot for UAL. It has to be the craziest life I have ever heard of (plus the fact that he lives in NC and is based in Philly). I don't know how those guys do it. Your adventure quote definitely sums up that life.

Off to Denver later today hope to get out of work a pinch early, grant report to do this morn and a meeting, like my mind is really here, LET THE ADVENTURE BEGIN!!!!!!!

Good Morning Cruisers!

Is there any chance that someone has a list of cruisers on this cruise that I can print out before this afternoon? I know there was one floating around, but I do not have the time to go find it, and I do not know how current it is. I do not think I will be around for the official FE list being made. If I cannot find a list before we leave, I will have to rely on Fish Extenders to deliver our FE gifts, which I guess should work, I am just used to having a list. Our gifts are also for everyone, not just those signed up for FE, so I would also like the list for that reason.

We are headed out tonight - drive to Denver and fly out of Denver in the morning. We are looking forward to meeting all you folks, and again seeing those we already know! Safe travels to all!

I only have the FE list going (hope to have the "pretty" version later today). I am also printing copies of the list that I will have on board which can help you. If you like I will search for the "complete" list and have copies of it ready for you as well. We plan to meet briefly at about 10:30pm on the first night (after second dining at least)...but we haven't set a location yet. Also, you can stop by my cabin (7612).

Have a safe trip...see you on the other side of the pond!

It is always an adventure. But I have literally non-revved my entire life as my dad is retired from Delta. I now work for AA. So, I am used to playing "the game". Part of the reason I am leaving a week before the cruise sails! That should give me plenty of time to find a ride over the water. I do miss the way air travel was when I was a kid...

I keep telling Yensid1222 not to worry. We are going to make it on the flight and besides we have done the back up plan. Plan B is essential when you fly non- rev. Heck - LIFE is about how you handle Plan B.

I can't believe this trip is a week away for me. Time just got away and I haven't done half of what I planned to do. FE is under control, now I need to do my final shopping locally. I am also excited about the Novotel. Didn't think I would get so happy about a hotel for this trip, but it sounds like we are going to have a blast. I like the drinking group also.

Thanks for all the Gibralter info on shopping. See everyone in 11 days at the Novotel

were they on a back to back or were they just really heavy drinkers?!! :rotfl2:

Both! :rotfl::rotfl:

Anyway, there were a bunch of B2B'ers and for those getting off the ship, no one wanted their alcohol to go to waste, so Ken and Shari said to drop it by their stateroom and it could be used for the next cruise.

I don't think they thought they would be getting so much alcohol though, it was pretty funny walking by their stateroom!

Hello everyone! We are new to the board - it will be be my DH and I as we are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and the kids will be at home. We are from outside of Charlotte, NC. We got engaged at the Castle in WDW. :) We are looking forward to this cruise so much. I think this is our 5th Disney Cruise - our second this year. We are definately looking for a fun group to hang out - so look for the two of us wandering around and we will be ready to cut loose and party (along with some exploring and relaxation time)!

David and Anna
