i forgot some people were going so soon! have a great trip everyone!

A mission , a quest, sure please join us, we are prob going to walk over to the cable car or the lighthouse and hit the Wine o Mega Mart ( I made that up) to see what we can find.

Heck we might just offer this as an excursion, maybe we could borrow a hand cart from the ship or better yet a fork lift

Wonder if my International Drivers License is good for a fork lift???

Scott- Please make it a fork lift. My back has been bothering me lately and sinse we both are doing the Baltic cruise there will be alot of wine purchased!! Alex

We could all take empty backbacks and probably get six bottles each in them, and then haul back to the ship.......

Remember the transatlantic when everyone put their leftover liquor outside Ken and Shari's stateroom? I don't think they could get in their stateroom after all the alcohol was "donated" to them.

Only six bottles at a time? That means quite a number of trips. I still like the forklift idea!! Alex

how's the weather where everyone is? its gloriously sunny here (rare occurance!!) and its getting me into the holiday spirit. shame i've gotta go to work later.

i've been looking at photos of the palo brunch and private room, and its been making me feel hungry! loving the idea of all the seafood on the ship, mmmm........

Hey there all.

Called my bank yesterday to alert them that we'd be traveling, and they are currently not accepting charges from Spain due to elevated fraud, so we need to find someplace to get travelers checks ASAP. We bank out of state, and our bank is unwilling to send them through the mail. Ideas?

Hi Everyone

Gloriously sunny day today, dd still covered in a rash, but back to her normal chatty self.

Have been at the Forklift thread!!! Looks like we will be leaving any left overs outside the B2B cabins - not sure there will be anything to leave though.

I see my sister (Jks) has been lurking around. She would know all about Gib. she is a shopaholic and of course everything is tax free there, so if you need a new camera etc., that's the place. Of course, Marks & Spencer for your undies!

Alternative to a forklift would be one of the small mini bus taxis which line up outside the ship, to supermarket, load up and return. May need a few people to unload, a sort of 'carry on'!

Hope everyone who is setting off this weekend has a great trip. See you in the Novotel, or on board.

Had we arranged a place to meet on the first day? I haven't re-read this thread. I am not sure we will get to any meet, as have to eat at Parrot Cay, have a swim and..check out kids club etc., but will try. I will check Yensids door/FE (near our room if no upgrades avail.)

cant remember if this is 100% right or not, but wasnt it mentioned that tomorrow (sunday) is the cut off date for the FE? if so, looks like its going to be 19 cabins/18 gifts to make. nice round number!

Final packingbstage, travel clothes laid out, batteries check, media cards formatted, passports checked, money, checked, house sitter list done, wallet transferred, bills payed, need to call credit card companies. Lawn mowed,

Yes. Tomorrow is the cut off. After that I will get an easy spreadsheet made for everyone. I will post the information as well.

We discussed meeting after 2nd dining (briefly...or it could just move to Rockin' Bar D for first of many nights of drinks...) to get copies of the list and make any updates as necessary. If you cant make it, just leave me a note if you have any updates at 7612. I will then leave some copies of the updated list in the bottom pocket of my FE for anyone that can't make it.
