We'll be on the Whale Watch/Mendenhall trip. In Skagway we booked the Yukon suspension bridge/city/white pass railway for the afternoon trip - was curious that the Adult Only departure was not offered :confused3 I may look into booking this privately. In Ketchikan we booked the Adult only Misty Fjords Explorer - Adult Only.

Got spots for two of us in Palo for Tea on Tues, Dinner on Wed and Brunch on Sunday - the problem is there are 8 of us but only we are Gold :-( I'm really not wanting to go without my friends so I'm hoping they can get at least one of those spots especially the Brunch. Booked the Tea as kind of an extra for now.

if your rooms are linked - i thought you would be able to book them with you on the reservations.... might call DCL about that.

it was so hard deciding which ones to do.... so much that we wanted to do

When can 1st timers book their excursions? We are all paid. Now to plan excursions and FE.

Yippie! Were are now paid in full! :cool1:
I can't wait to get the online check in done and book my excurisons! Does anybody know if there going to do the Palo Brunch? My mom and I really wanted to do this but don't know if they are? Did anybody else snag it?
I can't until like March 6, darn it.
I'm working on FE ideas, is there a list somewhere for how many people are on the list for it?
Can't wait!! :yay::yay::yay::dance3::yay::yay::yay:

Welcome Erica - there is a list started for FE - i think deb is working on it. we also have a facebook group if you are interested in it. North to Alaska DCL June 4 2012 is the name.

I know it's been a long time since I visited the website. I was hoping to see more people signed up for the FE, I guess it will make it easy to do if there's only a few of us! We signed up for Brunch at Palo's; Grizzly Falls Ziplining in Skagway; Glacier Dog Musher in Juneau; Lumberjack Show in Ketchikan and Misty Fjords & Wilderness Explorer; Craigdarroch Castle & City Highlights in Victoria. Anyone else "have done" or "is doing" any of these excursions?

Add us to the FE list...me, dh and dd 8. I will find something I can bring but it will have to be light. LOL We can't book till March 6 too I think.

I know it's been a while since I've been on here - sorry about that. Long story short- been dealing with lots of financial stuff after a death in my family. And in the middle of all of that, my computer monitor stopped working. That computer is where my FE spreadsheet is & so I have not been able to post the spreadsheet (using my iPad to post this now). Getting a new monitor today, should be able to update & post spreadsheet by tomorrow.

Thanks for your understanding. :)

We are also getting excited about this cruise! Will be able to book excursions next week - yay!

I was thinking that maybe we should think about a meet up on the ship. It was nice for us to do that on our last cruise. We met on the first or second day (can't recall). It was good to see friendly faces on the ship & in port throughout the cruise. What do you all think about that?

Ok - that's it for now from me. I'll be posting that spreadsheet by tomorrow. If you have not gotten your info to me yet, please post it here or pm me with names, room number & ages of kids, if any. Thanks!

Debbie

So sorry to hear about your loss, Debbie. We've had a a couple family members and two friends pass away in the last couple months so can imagine how stressful and difficult it's been for you.

Definitely looking forward to some fun and relaxation on the Wonder in a few short months!

I think a meet-up is a great idea! We also did this on our last cruise and it was nice to meet everyone in person so we could say "hi" when we saw each other around the ship. We met the first day, right before the lifeboat drill, in the Promenade Lounge on Deck 3. It wasn't busy there so worked out relatively well, although the configuration of chairs and tables there made it a bit awkward to stand around chatting.

Thanks for posting the spreadsheet, but no worries if you don't get to it for a couple days :) Kim has posted some of the info over on the facebook page, so that's helped give us at least a starting idea on how many people are going to participate.

Hi, a couple people said they got the Palo brunch. My mom and I really want to do it this time. Does anybody know when the Brunch is?
A meet up on the ship sounds awesome!
Yippie I get to work on the online check in stuff next week!:cool1:
I'm working on FE gifts, this is my first time being able to do it.
I can't wait for this trip!
popcorn::popcorn:: mmm popcorn! popcorn::popcorn::

what was i talking about?

Hi Erica - the Palo brunch is usually available on sea days, so for us that will be Tuesday for sure and then I would guess since we don't dock in Victoria until that evening that it will probably be available on Sunday. And then I've read they did it on the Tracy Arm day as well.

When your window for booking opens up, you'll be able to see all the available times for Palo brunch across all the days on the website. And, keep in mind, if there aren't any available spots when you look online, you still have an option of booking it when you board the first day - they usually keep some of the reservation times held back until then.

Sorry to hear of your family's loss debc1212. I know I am so ready for this trip and i know you must be too...

I would love to meet up on the day of embarkation... I like the idea of the Promenade lounge mid-afternoon.

:)

Hi everyone!

Our booking window opened today, so I was up late booking excursions. Had some trouble booking some of our first choices because they were already sold out by those who could book earlier. But I think we got MOST of what we wanted.

While I was waiting to book, I tried to post the spreadsheet, but could not do it. If anyone has a clue how I can do this, please let me know.

I also tried to find and join the FB page, but could not find it. If a direct link could be posted, that would be great. I will try it again.

I think planning the meet for the first day in the lounge is a good idea and a nice way to start off the cruise.

It's getting closer..... :yay:

We booked late last night as well and were lucky enough to get all our first choices. :cool1: I did see that high tea at Palo on Tuesday was full and a couple of the excursions like "Dog musher for a day" were full.

If anyone who's still waiting for their booking window has any questions about specific excursions or current availability, let me know and I'd be happy to look for you.

Can't believe we're only 90 days out now! Getting so excited :) Now to get back to work on my FE gifts :)

This is wierd because I stayed up to do this and it wouldn't let me. It said 90 days and then kept saying 3/6...so I wait till midnight and still wouldn't let me. Today it says 87 days out? WTH? I haven't booked excursions but need to today. I haven't booked before thru Disney for that, do you pay onboard? Can you still cancel? How does this work? I booked the tea for Tracy Arm day but don't know if that will work. Depends on when we get Disney Friends tea tickets. Does anyone know what nights are which dining themes? I still need to book Palo dinner. Also which things were you unable to book?
