Hi everyone! I am about to send out the spreadsheet for our FE exchange. I am missing two room numbers. I know that Tricia's family (queenbee99) will be trying for an upgrade at the port, so I don't have their room number yet. However, I have somehow missed getting Vicki's (Disney Yooper). I really hate to send it out without that info, but I will if I don't hear from someone who knows the room number. I can then send out an update with the room number.

I'll wait for a bit to hear, but will be sending out what I have before I turn in tonight.

Yes, that's fine if you want to do that. We could also give the update, which I am guessing you will know, at the time of the meet on the first day on the ship. I plan to have print-outs for that first day meet. We could just write in your room - since there are only 11 cabins, it should be easy! LOL!

Just give me your current room number for now. Also, could you please pm me your email address again. I was just putting together the email and realized that I do not have your address. Thanks!

No problem, I completely understand. My husband may not make it to the meet if the 2 yr old is tired and needs to rest before the drill.

Where did you decide to stay in Seattle? We are at the Marriott.

I haven't decided, I think I am going to do the priceline route but still haven't done that. It's hard once you get there to get all that done when you have kids, well at least for me it is. LOL I would love to meet up but I will just have to see how it goes. Sending you my info now.

Happy 30 days left to cruise day!
I was able to find out from the reservation line the movies that will be playing on our cruise. Per the lady I was speaking with, they are:
Avengers
Chimpanzee
John Carter
War Horse
The Help
Real Steel
The Muppets
POTC

I also asked about Pirate Night since other cruisers said they were not having it on the Alaskan cruises. I was told that our Pirate Party night is on Thursday evening, however they are not doing the Pirate menu, they are doing a Taste of Alaska or similar menu.

For anyone who's a first time cruiser, like me, I was suprised to learn that there is no ATM on the ship. I had booked some private excursions that take cash, so I'll need to bring cash or travellers checks with me.

Just wanted to share what I found out.

Ugh ... hope the 30 days go fast... I am really needing this break. Thanks for the info on the pirate party Geri - i am ok with not having the pirate menu... it wasn't that great! hoping that the chef does some different things on the alaskan... they didn't on the mexican riviera

Ok now I am confused because I was told no pirate night....I started a thread and many were told the same thing. Why are we not able to get a definitive yes or no? It's hard to plan this and our Victoria day not knowing what will be happening. Thanks for sharing wat you found out. I was told the same movies but had not got the chance to post them here yet.

Every 2 years all the native tribes in Alaska and the north west get together for Celebration. Its an event that celebrates native culture, lots of native dancing. Anyways on the day you are in port there is a large Native crafts fair and events throughout the day all down town. Here is the link http://www.sealaskaheritage.org/celebration/celebration_2012.htm

If you are interested in native culture,from tribes all over AK, this is a great event. I have no stake in this but I like to plan and know your time in town is limited so thought you would like a heads up. Hope you enjoy your time in Alaska is great!

Just applied for membership in the FB group. We are surprising our two munchkins (DD - 7 and DS - 8). It'll DH, DD, and DS's first cruise and I'm so excited for them! I think we are Cat 11A, but I'd have to double check. So excited to get to know you all and see everyone in January! Only 222 days to go!
