Reversible dress
i can't book anything til 4/15... or i guess, 4/14 at 9:01pm pacific time!
what's the deal with online check-in? should i do that too?
I have done our on-line checkin already but whenever I go in to check it it keeps reverting to an address in the US at the EPCOTS resorts for Howard and Andrew. That is so weird!
Phew! Got up before 6am so that I'd be ready to log-in. I had to reboot the network for the house as I had no internet! In the end, I managed to get everything I wanted. I can't wait!
So glad you figured out the network issue early and that you got everything you want. I am so happy for you!
Wha-ho - Macassi - I see you got your bookings. I am a toad at midnight - no can do.
It's 4 am in New Jersey - Paolo is booked. Got some spa activities booked, but I wanted to do everything on the same day and couldn't get the right time. I guess you can't reserve hair do's etc in the Salon. Want to get a 1940's do. Andrew Sisters WATCH OUT! Maybe they can't even figure it out....who knows.
I thought you could do the online check in to? Guess we have to wait.
Woohoo! on getting Palo booked and some spa stuff. Will Paul do anything at the spa?
Dorothy,
Glad you are having problems with online check in as well, as I was beginning to think it was just me. Will try again in a few days.
Spent the rest of the morning looking at hotels. Think I have selected one and now trying to figure out best rate.
6am would not be hard for me if I wasn't up until past midnight and then not sleeping due to worrying about missing the alarm!
Marci - Are you looking for pre-cruise or post-cruise? Pre-cruise we are staying at the
Hotel Catedral de Barcelona (The Barcelona Cathedral Hotel). It was one of the few with pretty large rooms, a swimming pool, restaurant on premises, etc. It is literally across the street from the Barcelona Cathedral (not La Sagrada Familia), and it is less than a block to Las Ramblas.
Here is what their website says:
Located right in the city centre, The Barcelona Catedral Hotel is exclusive, modern and comfortable. It offers guests excellent quality rooms and an efficient service. Our Hotel is your best option to discover Barcelona and being part of it. Just 5’ walk to the Rambles, the Cathedral and the Plaça Catalunya. The Barcelona Catedral Hotel offers services such as swimming-pool, gym, personal trainer, patio-chill out, restaurant with outdoors terrace and smoking area, parking, free internet computers, wireless internet connection throughout the hotel, free guided cultural walks, cooking lessons, cooking team building.
For post-cruise, we are booking private transport from the port to
La Ciutat del Prat which is near the airport. I chose it because I was able to get the rooms for less than $100/night each, they have a free airport shuttle for our flight home the next day, it has free beverages in the mini-bars, a pool and is walking distance to places for food, including a highly rated pizzeria. LOL!
Shelley - You are a font of useful information! I don't know what any of us would do without the help/information/ideas that everyone has shared here.
