I just broke down today and bought my youngest the cutes Red Mickey Mouse Crocks tonight!! They are so cute!!!

Oh you're lucky!! Never been to WDW...actually afraid to fly (paranoid since I was kid!). But in the event that we ever go (I'll have visited the airport bar for a few 'beverages' before the flight :rolleyes1 ), I'll most likely have questions for you! BTW, Mickey crocs are way too comfy....I love mine!!

I too do not like to fly. I used to when I was younger as a kid and then when I was about 22 there was a plane crash near where I lived and something then kind of snapped:scared1: for me so after that I didn't fly for about 6 years but then I needed to fly over to Europe so I do some drugs I got from the my doctor for it and went. It was tough but got through it.
I still use meds when I go but only then. I can't even drink much.LOL
I just keep telling me self about the Stats of being up in the air VS down with car accidents, etc. It is for sure a mental game that is hard if you have the problem!! So totally understand!!!:thumbsup2

Hey I didn't know they made the Mickey crocs in adult sizes? Where did you get them? DL? I would like some:jumping1:
I got my sons here at a local store.

Yeah...I think my problem is that I'm a typical 'Type A' personality and I'm not in control of the airplane  I can't "swerve" out of the way of oncoming "traffic" if I should see any. :rotfl: But I got my crocs at www.taylorshoes.com and they have different colors and also just added the 'Pirates' crocs. Not as many colors as the kids, but still very cute! I think I also got free shipping if my memory serves me correctly :goodvibes

Hello all - I haven't checked this thread but I am part of this club too! I just wanted to let you know that Disney IS offering packages that include DLR in them. I do not think that they are advertising them but I called about two weeks ago to inquire about it. I made a mistake by first calling Disneyland direct. They really had no idea what was being offered for the cruise and I ended to conversation more confused then I had started it. So I decided to call DCL and talk to them. Within minutes, I had 3 night stay booked at the Disneyland Hotel with tickets and transfers from airport to resort, resort to port, and port back to airport. The cost of the DLR stay was about 400 dollars less then what I quoted on the website so it must be a package.

So if you are looking to book a pre or post stay at DLR, call DCL and they will help you out!

Can't wait to cruise!

Hi MickeyAnne! Thanks for the info! My AAA TA just had to switch me to another agent this week (I've had her as my TA for over 8 years through MANY DL trips)....she was promoted within the company and no longer is my AWESOME TA. I'm totally bummed. But I just asked my new TA about some info regarding the packages, etc. And literally....not to be mean....but she knows absolutely nothing. I had to giver HER information and I've never been on a Disney cruise before!!!! Oh boy....what am I in for??? Anyway, your info helps me out a lot. Thanks for posting!!

Hey Micky Anne,

I just talked to DCL and they gave me the same quote as my TA. I asked for the 3 night and I was only able to save about $150.00 difference? Which is better then nothing.
My quote was for 2 adults and 2 kids? I wonder how your did it to save $400?
I wish somehow I could get that.:confused3
Any ideas?? Help.

Hey Fans....what hotel did you end up choosing?

Aloha,
Hi guys we live near DL an was wondering Will they let us check in at DLR hotel for our cruise on the Mexican Riviera 2008 even though we are not staying at the resort?
Just was wondering because when we did the Med cruise we stayed at a prefered DCL. Even though we did not book it through DCL they let us check in for the cruise a day before.

Hi Hawaiian Mickey! Ok, I must apologize because I'm not understanding....do you mean they let you actually check in at a hotel desk for your cruise....like you would at the port? Maybe I'm not reading it correctly....please explain and one of us here can help :thumbsup2 Sorry but it's Sunday of my 3 day weekend, and I'm a little slow today :rotfl2:

Aloha,
Sorry I did not make it clear. I wanted to know if they will let us check in for the cruise at the hotel like they did for us in Barcelona.
They checked us in, they checked our all our cruise docs and they gave our key to the world cards and the next day we we straight on to the boat after security. We did not have to check in at the port.

Oh ok :goodvibes I totally follow you now :thumbsup2 Unfortunately I don't know, but I would imagine that if Disney were doing this, you probably WOULD have to stay at one of the resort hotels. That would be the 'perk' of staying there rather than one of the good neighbor hotels pre cruise. Now if you live close, or are traveling there without staying in resort hotels pre cruise, you'd most likely have to check in at the port. Like I said, I don't really know, but those are my thoughts. :flower3: Anyone else know for sure?

Hi everybody, Haven't checked in recently. Boy, you made me think. I need ressies before and after the cruise. Must do it now. This is our fifth DCL trip. Western, Eastern, 4 day DVC cruise and the westbound Panama canal. We have already been to Cabo and Mazatlan in adddition to Acapulco on the Magic. I am thinking that it will be REST for us and maybe not even get off the ship.

My husband and I are totally with you on this point.....not getting off the ship! :thumbsup2 We have family that's been on the Magic many times, and have shared with us that getting off for excursions is not necessary, depending on what we feel like doing at the time. Although they've never been on the Riviera cruises, I do understand that thinking though. We want to go and relax, not get up early to leave the ship, walk around all day and get tired out. But, we haven't heard a final list of excursions yet....we might change our minds :beach:

Hey Everyone!!

Just got back from WDW this week and even though it was hot! We had a wonderful magical time!:wizard: We were so lucky--:yay: On our 1st day in the parks about 1:00pm or so we won a Dreams day out and got to go on any ride no wait, treats and toys for kids, and no wait for photo opps!! I was so nice!!:goodvibes
And also, I was told that they are going to extend the Dreams for several months next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo:
So most likely when we all go on this trip and go to DL they will still be giving things away!!!!:dance3:
How has everyone been???
