June 28, 2011 Disney Wonder 7-day Alaska

Thank you to everyone for the Old Navy suggestions for my daughter-in-law. We had never thought of them for maternity clothes.

I just wanted to make sure there were no food allergies in the FE group? I figured not since no one had mentioned it? Also, are we supposed to say who it's from on them or is it a surprise?

It is up to you if you say who the gift is from. We usually do, but there have been times where the group was so big that we didn't.

I was reading one of the stickys from the home page and it mentioned that you can ship one box to your stateroom. Has anyone thought of doing this for their non food FE gifts? I'm just trying to figure out a way to make traveling through the airport a little easier. I'm so lucky that my boys are a little older so they can help.. of course they still whine a lot :)

I can't believe how much brain power I am using to come up with these FE gifts. Too bad I don't live in some cool place like Australia (noticed from one of the other posters)! I could give everyone a map to the stars house.:rotfl:

Anyone get there cruise documents yet? We are 45 days away and from what I've read on other sites, they should be arriving any time now

We don't want to get toooo excited but we missed a "fedex" delivery today and from the tracking it looks like it has come from overseas - as you see we are in UK. We are not expecting any delivery so can only assume this is our cruise docs.......?? Fingers crossed!!

There was no way I was going to pay over $30 or so for maternity clothes, so ON was perfect, especially the clearance rack! Also found good $19.99 deals at motherhood maternity.

Got our cruise docs today. Well for one of our cabins we did still waiting on the other. Pretty weird they did not arrive at the same time.
So real now, only 40 more days.
Today I have been trying to make our FE. I do not sew and am having a hard time deciding how to make it look. Also still debating on gifts. That is good to know that we can send a box ahead of time. I may have to do that.

Another option that I did my first pregnancy is to go to Ebay and look up Maternity Lot in her size. I was able to get A BOX of clothes (some new with tags even!) and for the savings I got a lot of use out of most of them. (a friend had given me this tip as she did it too)

Thank you everyone for maternity clothes suggestions. I will pass them on to her.

There has been a request to have the final fish extender list emailed to everyone participating so personal information will not have to be on the internet. I have no problem doing that, but I need all participant's email addresses. Please send me an email at nordkin@aol.com so I can compile the list of emails and set up a group to send out the actual Excel spreadsheet. I will probably send out the final list from my gmail account since it is easier to add an attachment as I have that account set up on Microsoft Outlook.

Got our cruise docs today - fedex'ed from Florida all the way down to us in Sydney Australia.....getting so excited...:banana::yay::yay:

Hi - From Long Beach CA - I'm Cheryl, travelling with my fellow teacher and friend Kim on the June 28th cruise to Alaska! We're in 7122 and we'd love to join the Fish Extenders group.

I'm packing their little book bags with snacks, travel games, coloring etc. If you have any suggests on things to put in their book bags let me know.

Only thing I've got to suggest is "something new", as well as favorites. And I'm a great fan of the toddler toys in McDonald's Happy Meals... since they're cheap, no biggie if they don't go home again :-) (especially the ones that move a bit... my kids liked some of them still when they were in 1st grade)

Reminds me, I need to get my kids to start planning their bags. Both already know they're getting extremely limited time with Gameboys if they're not either on plane or train ... note, I didn't say ship :-)

I have updated the lists on page 1 and the spreadsheet link.

Since I am emailing the final list to everyone participating in the fish extender exchange I still need some email addresses. Thank you to those that have responded. Please respond to nordkin@aol.com.

I think I am supposed to be doing laundry and cleaning the house instead of reading the dis boards... just need to get off before DH comes home from getting the car washed:cool1:
