Someone on FB mentioned our port times for Dubrovnik have us arriving at 11:15 rather than 1:15. I'm glad because I wanted more time there!

Yes, I had a phone call regarding the early arrival and the change of my shore excursion being moved up. I was very excited about this too! They probably won't extend the shore excursion time. (Wishful thinking) So, we will need to find our what to do on our own for a few hours after.

We are excited about having extra time. We hope our guide can meet us earlier and that we will have some time to linger.

I was trying to think of something for today's blog post, so this change of schedule gave me a topic.

We actually decided not to switch our room. We like our current 7th floor location and were worried about this room being a connector and near a lot of foot traffic. Hopefully it was the right decision for us

We received and email about it today! Our port adventure to the beach was moved up from 1:15 to 11:45 and goes till about 4:30 now.
So glad they changed this so we will have more time to get ready for pirate night!

I got a call from DCL today. They told me that our port excursion in Malta has been cancelled (limestone-heritage-and-marsaxlokk-by-fun-train). Can anyone recommend a new one for us that is good for all ages?

I read a blog online that the tour Valetta for Kids is a 4 on a scale of 1 - 5. I signed up for it.

I think its neat we will be one of the last voyages on the classic magic ....but I'm also kinda bummed we won't be getting any of the new stuff

I think I would feel bad, except that we are going on the repo from Venice to Barcelona next summer!

It hits all the Greek Isles and Turkey and Athens.

I'm thinking of changing my March cruise from the Fantasy to a back to back on the Magic.

I would have been happy with new bedding. I wouldn't even need everything.

Same! Literally all I want is new bedding! I don't have to have everything else on the ship be new and super clean,but old bedding just grosses me out. Even the wonder got new bedding...a year ago!

My 4-year-old DS literally kissed my laptop screen while watching the video about the re-imagining of the Magic. He is in love with the new kids club and can't wait to hang out in Andy's room. DD was super excited about the Aqua Dunk and the Twist and Spout. We may have to take the Southern Caribbean route in October 2014 after all. The new design looks amazing.

Sometimes the website is wrong,
sometimes they add another group for a desirable excursion,
sometimes people change their minds and cancel
and
I am convinced that they hold some slots for people who do not know how to book on line.

I have to agree - we've had them add another group, and we've had openings pop up for things we wanted. And I believe they hold slots not just for shore excursions but also for Palo brunch and dinner - so if you haven't been successful in getting those reservations, then go as soon as you board to see if you can grab one.
