We love the veranda rooms, it is really nice sometimes to sit out on your veranda while either at sea or while docked in the port (especially at Castaway Cay). I don't know which side of the boat is better for Castaway Cay I think we have just lucked out each time. We have done a Cat 4 and a Cat 6. The Cat 4 gives you more room with a wall bed but if you only have 4 people a Cat 6 works well. We try to stay to the center of the boat so that it is easier to get up and down to the different levels. One time we were really close to the kids clubs and that made it easy to allow our DD to check herself out and come to the room when she wanted. We were only 2 floors away and about 3 doors down. I would look at a map of the ship and figure out which locations work best for your family.

OH MY GOODNESS! I'm in tears! I just booked our very first Disney cruise!!!!!

(I'm at work, so don't tell!)

I've been working so hard on this and finally convinced a procrastinating dh to just do it!

So I'm so happy and excited but feel so behind and need to catch up!

I'm from VA too! I saw a few that were too and some from Md! HI!

I have an 8 yr old dd. who can't wait!

We are going on the June 27th "double dip" cruise. This is our 2nd Disney cruise...first one was June 2009 and we just loved the 4 day and wanted the 7 day but it wasn't sailing. It will be me, DH, DD 8 and DD5!!

We are still looking for dining companions. We are a party of two. I am a mostly streessed single mom working as an addictions counselor. My travel companion is five, six at cruise time going on thirty-five. Needless to say we are always up for a vacation. We are from Buffalo. We are cold. We are shoveling. But, we won't be those last two things in June! This is our second disney cruise. We love Castaway Cay and Makayla could live in the kids club, so if any of you have kids that are unsure about the club, she's your girl to help break them in there! Talk to everyone soon!!!!!

After 5 cruises you are a Gold CC member, I think after 10 then you move up to Platinum. This is our 8th cruise.

So I just booked our flights for the cruise on Southwest. It wasn't as low as I expected but I figured I would get the rate I could and then just change them if they drop in price. I also just booked our room at the Radisson for the night before. I am starting to get excited as the weather is getting warmer and I am starting to think about vacation.

This will be our 4th Disney Cruise and we have loved each one of them. We have a DD16 and a DD12 who are looking for friends on the cruise so if you have a DD in this range please send me a message through Disboards so that our kids can talk before the cruise.

I am also looking to do the fish extenders if anyone else is interested. We had a great time doing it last time and would love to do it again. Any interest?
