What a depressing two days, both the Phantoms and the Flyers knocked out of play offs! Thank goodness we have a cruise booked to fill the void of Philadelphia hockey. On a brighter side, it's a beautiful weekend here in South Jersey, no rain in sight! And we're only what - 62 days away from a great cruise? Almost time to pack!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Bummer, didn't know about the hockey teams. Sounds like you need to do what I'm doing, follow those upstart Sixers baby!

We haven't booked yet, but this is the cruise we are eyeing. Hope to make it official in the next few weeks.

Sharks pulled it off in overtime. I am not a big fan but my guys are. Very distracting to DS who has AP tests next week!

Good Morning!!

Finally the sun is shining again. Yesterday was cold and dreary so I decided to take on a challenge. I made my version of a fish extender!!! Not being a handy person with a needle and thread made it all the more fun.

Anyway................ if everyone decides they do want to go ahead with this count me in. Just let me know what I need to do.

I'm still around. I am just a little frazzled with the new job and trying to get my house back in order after a beach vacation and a quick trip to WDW. Working on the bank accounts now. Will be doing grocery shopping next.

Still thinking about the fish extender thing. I'll see if I can get creative or not.

Just saw a post on the main cruise forum that the May 2 Western is not stopping at Cozumel based on the recommendation from the CDC that non-essential people should not travel to Mexico. The ship is stopping at Nassau instead. Hope this all clears up before our cruise. We have a dolphin encounter booked in Cozumel and will be bummed big time if we don't make it

On a happier note, I plan to try and make myself a fish extender sometime over the next few weeks. I don't sew and am only mildly crafty. I'll let you know how it goes

Hi, DISers! I just got off the Magic on Saturday. I bought a copy of the Port & Shopping Club book onboard and was wondering if anyone wanted my copy. It is full of coupons and freebies for all the ports you are stopping at. (I used the coupons on the Eastern cruise so all the Western stops are untouched.) For example, Cozumel has coupons for a free magnet, free shot glass, and antique map. Key West has free tanzanite earrings, free gemstone, and free magnet.

The book expires at the end of this year and I'm not going to cruise again so I'd like to pass it along to someone who will! PM me if you're interested.

I am so excited that we are going. Really stressed that we are booking so late in the game. We would love to be part of the fish extender exchange. I have two DD's 8 & 5. My youngest has Down Syndrome, and this is our first cruise with her. Little more stressed about that. We took the oldest on an Eastern DC in 04. Need to shop. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Hi everyone and Happy Mothers day weekend I would like to put a suggetion out to everyone that is participating in the fish extender exchange. Since most of us are newbies how about exchanging 3 out of the 7 days? Let's say the 2 sea days and Castaway Cay. If anyone wants all seven than please let us know I would be more than happy to create the list of names (Diser name) for everyone. All I will need is the name, room number and who is cruising, i.e DD, DH etc. I would like to get a count on how many are participating so I can start my goodie shopping

We really want to dive in GC and Coz, but I cannot tell if the excursion is there is room left to book this. I know I will call DCL before we finally book, but just thought I would ask.

Oldest DD (8) and I have gone through all the pages. She would like to get to know some other girls her age. This is the list that she has made of girls she could play with: newt&karen's DD8 (we are also in NC), zdara1999 DD6, jcgmt whose niece is 8. She may be in both the lab and club, depending on how her younger sis does. This is her 2nd cruise, she was only 3 1/2 on her first.

I checked this morning 10:15 dive at COZ is available, and 7:45 two tank dive at GC is.

Hi all - sorry I've been "away" for awhile!! My children have been performing in Beauty & the Beast with our community theater company and - other than school and work - we have pretty much lived at the theater! BUT we're down to our last weekend of performances and then can turn our attention to getting ready to CRUISE - yay!

We definitely want to be included in the fish extender plan. I like the idea of exchanging during 3 of the days, I've started getting some ideas for gifts as well as the fish extender itself.

ZDARA1999, thanks for offering to coordinate. I'll be sure to PM you our information regarding room number, etc.

We should also come up with a way to meet - when I've cruised in the past, we came up with a way to meet in the terminal prior to getting on the ship. But this doesn't work for those families who will be arriving a little bit later, so meeting on the ship somewhere is also a good idea.
