Thank you for reaching out to us! Sierra sent a "friend request". We are going to pass on the lanyards this time around, as we will make platinum on this cruise & want to get the new lanyards from Disney.

I don't know what cabin it is yet, it's a 4A... so I'm hoping that I'll be able to bring it down a level or two before payment. It was the strangest thing that we couldn't get all of us in the same cabin & Disney told us it was because of the lifeboat situation and the number of people that can be in a lifeboat. Makes sense, but their new reservation system is kind of screwy. It wouldn't let me book 4 people in the same cabin with my castaway #, but if I didn't put it in, I got through. So, I just called them the next day & straightened it all out & we're good to go! Yeah!! (happy dance). We have other friends joining us, but they aren't on the disboards. I have to tell them what they're missing!

So glad DCL was able to fix your reservation. Yes tell your friends they are missing all the fun on the Disboard.

Wish the cruise was tomorrow. We had more snow and now will have sleet tomorrow morning yuck so sick of winter weather.

I was just looking through a set of Navigators from the Dream and noticed that on that particular cruise, the lifeboat drill was scheduled to start at 3:15. I’ll try to confirm that time if I can, but if that’s the case, we may want to back up the initial DIS-Meeting form the current 3:00 to about 2:30 so that we’ll have more then fifteen minutes to get together. Feel free to help me confirm this one.

BTW: We too are booked at the Radisson the day before we sail and are also currently booked on the 10:00 shuttle, so it looks like we’ll get a chance to meet up with a few of y’all on the ride over to the terminal. We are also book there on the day we return and are planning to go up to the space center for the day. I haven’t been on “The Cape” for a long while. My grandfather worked out there, so I had the opportunity to be on site a number of times when I was a young’en, but it’s been a long tome since I was there last and I’m looking forward to seeing all the new additions to the visitor’s facility.

I don’t want to be wishing part of my life away, but I do wish that June would get here just a little bit sooner.

OK I have checked 3 different navigators from the DREAM and 2 have the boat drill at 3:45pm and 1 has the boat drill at 4:15pm.
I think we should be just fine meeting at 3pm. But I will keep checking the Navigators that get posted before our cruise.

We have a foot and a half of snow/frozen rain on the ground at the moment, and it makes me want to make like those kids who wanted to go to Dollywood and save my cash to sneak out on a flight to Disney...but I have a brain


It does, however, happen to be March as of today! Every month gets us a little bit closer...

I'm not a teacher, hopefully one day though. I'm currently an aide in the classroom and work with one particular student in the special education department.

My boyfriend and I did WWoHP last year with a different group of friends that are big Harry Potter fans. It was hectic last year crowd wise, but because of the package we booked we were able to get into the park an hour early and skip the general public line that looped through a good chunk of the park. As long as they enjoy Potter, they will enjoy that section of the park and the ride that as you go through the halls of Hogwarts.

I worked in Fairfax for 10 years - great county. Got a friend who works at Rachel Carson as an aide. We spent the extra bucks to stay on property - its only one night and we figured it was worth it to make sure we get that extra hour.

We are also planning Universal for the day we get off the ship so we may see you there

We will hopefully be booking next summer instead. Anyway, please take us off of the FE list & lanyard list. We were looking forward to meeting you all.
