I'm in my 40s and still haven't developed a taste for champagneI want to be 21!!!! The sophistication of Pink is just...my style!! Except I have had champagne at a wedding and it was really gross...![]()

We are not planning on doing the parks before the cruise but we will be staying a couple nights at WDW -DVC Beach Club. New DVC members hereHey guys, hope everyone is doing well. We had a small snowfall here yesterday, but it looks like that might be the last snowfall of the year here. At least that is what the weatherman says, but what does he know???
How many of you are going to do some time in the parks before the cruise? It looks like we are going to stay at the Carribean Beach Resort prior to the cruise. Savannah has a birthday that week, so we will be heading down early for that.

We'll be driving from VA so figure a day to just relax by the pool will be nice to unwind after the long drive.
Great ideaOn the Dream, there is a similar spot that might work. The Vista Café is on Deck-4 Starboard, across from Shutters and overlooking the main atrium (just head up the grand staircase and your basically there) Heres a pic:

Just a few thoughts, but I dont want to be seen as trying to run the show, so anything yall want to do will be fine by us. Were just glad to be able to sail on the Dream in the first place.

Vista Cafe sounds like a great spot to meet

I know that the D-Lounge is where you go to make all your reservations for Palo/Remy/etc. so it might not be the best spot. I love the idea of the Vista Cafe though! Not a problem that you suggested that though, thank you for the idea! Lol, I would never have thought of doing it there! I'm in favour of doing it at the Cafe. How about everyone else?![]()

sea day meet would be fun tooI think the Vista Cafe would be a great place to meet on the first day around 3pm. I could make a 8X10 picture of our lanyard logo and Green Mickey Head and have all the lanyards to distribute to the families.
I also like the idea of meeting up on the at sea day at the D lounge for family games. That sounds like a lot of fun!!![]()

I usually do the stairs the first day and then just get pooped and take the elevator the rest of the timeOkay for the tendering Mike and I have figured out how to avoid stairs however if there was an emergency I would be screwed because I don't do stairs well any one else have this problem

Just leave yourself plenty of time to get anyplace as the elevators are a pain when you are in a rush.
My DH just had a hip replacement in October. He is getting around pretty well now.Yay for the weather getting better and warmer! We've needed that to happen! (I live in Prince William County!!!)
Me! I have a bad knee on one side and a bad hip on the other. Stairs are a real issue for me! Going both up OR down! Especially with people racing past me. And we are on deck 9!!
The Vista Cafe sounds great to us! I can't wait!!!!
Too bad it is actually 4 more after this one, they changed it to 15 posts before you can private message.
Guess I'll go write bump on a few threads under the cruise section.
