OK, friends, I am trying to catch up on all this reading, but wow!
As I read back through the last 190 pages of posts, I feel like I am getting to know you all, so wanted to introduce myself better.
We are 5 confirmed Disneyholics, drinking the kool-aid happily. We live in Texas, but travel to both coasts at least once a year (my family lives in California, and Mickey lives in Florida). We have been DVC members for 6 years with many magical memories!
We cruised first in 2008 for DH's 40th bday/Christmas and got HOOKED! We would love to cruise as often as some of you do, but the traveling we already do tends to limit the cruise budget a bit, so we are shooting for every 2 years. Our 2nd cruise was in 2010 and we loved 7 nights! SO looking forward to this next one, but still feel like novices in many ways - we have not done a lot of excursions, and we've been on a different ship each time. I learn from all of you every time I visit the Disboards!
We have not decided on excursions yet, but I guess we had better get on that since our 90 day mark approaches (we are PIF now!

). We know we want to do snorkeling with the kids - any recommendations for good tours? We are planning to buy our own masks, etc - the girls always have trouble with the rental masks not fitting well. We'd like to do something "adventurous" too -like a zipline or a cave exploration??? We've surfed the
DCL website, but I like personal reviews and insider secrets!
Our kids LOVE the Disney ships - the two older ones were in the Edge last time and we barely saw them. We had a whiteboard in our room (thank you, DIS) so they could let us know where they would be, and that worked really well. They made tons of friends and had a blast. Our youngest was just 9 at the time, and went to the Lab some, but didn't enjoy it as much by herself - she was good about checking the Navigator and going for certain activities, but spent a lot of time with me and DH. This time both DDs will be in Edge, and DS will be in Vibe, so they're very excited!
Looking forward to catching up, getting to know you all, and getting involved in meets and stuff. Last time we did a stateroom tour - is there one planned yet? We had a DISer staying in the Roy O. Disney suite - it was really cool to get to see that!
Alright, back to reality - school starts again tomorrow...guess I have to go, since I'm the teacher!
