Thanks Deanna! I check everyday & because the lower Cats were gone, I could see we were going to have to pay a few hundred more...no big deal we can still book when we get our tax money back. When I checked Sunday a Cat 5 was $5700 & when I looked Monday, that same Category went to $7100 in just 1 day & DH said, "Well they just priced us out!"

I'm praying that the prices come back down.....

Please tell me you are still coming, though!!!

Edited to add......they have an 8C available for about $6200 right now.....just a large porthole, but a good size room.

Booked this cruise while we were on the Wonder PC Cruise. It will be our 4th cruise (all Disney) and our first Western.

It will be myself (Kay) DH (Neil) and our two kids. DS will be 12 and DD will be 7, almost 8. Hope we get to know you over the next few months. At least having a new cruise helps get over the PCD (post cruise depression) after our last cruise.

Allegedly Mr. Phil did NOT see his shadow meaning an early spring. I'll give him a week to prove this sn*w and all of it's 'relatives' will abate. If not, I'm organizing a DIS meet at Pux to skewer Phil. Who's with me?

Well we had an interesting morning.
It was a record 14 degrees overnight and as soon as I got up, the power went out. Apparantly it was a rolling blackout on purpose by the electric company to save the power grid. Now sometimes in certain very hot summers the power grid can't keep up but never during the summer. It was 75 degrees a few days ago. Bizarre!
Fortunately the power outage lasted only 20 mins so we lived.

Well I jinxed myself. Just lost power again. Sigh......

So like Chris we'll stop by on the way up the stairs...at least in the beginnng of the cruise. I always start out taking the stairs in the beginning and then run out of steam

This is some kind of freaky record setting week here!! It was EIGHTY!!! on Saturday!
I feel bad for the downtown Ft Worth businesses that were counting on this week. And so many of the businesses around Cowboy Stadium in Arlington...
Last week we had beautiful weather...didn't even need a sweater all week....

I think the aft verandahs also differ based on what deck you are on...10 being the deepest, 5 the shallowest.

Oh ofcourse deck 5 is the smallest- because that's what we booked. NO wait- that's for dream this summer... for Fantasy we jumped on cat 5E with "supposedly hopefully the same as Dream" extended verandahs. I wonder if we can get lounge chairs in THOSE big verandahs? I want a lounge- not a stupid chair. LOL

That IS frustrating! I thought they were obligated to have them to you by Jan. 30th?

Nope. Just have to have them postmarked by 1/31. allowing for mail could add at least a week to that. a lot of people use their last paystub to file if you know your taxable wages

We gave up on the stairs after the first night (unless it was a just a 2 deck hop).

All the 'fun' is on 11 & 3 which can make for quite some exercise lol. And the ship is loooong.
