See Bob, one minute you think you meet some "nice" families on a Disney Cruise, the next thing you know you're wearing their undergarments, in lipstick and high heels while your wife is spanking another's a&&. Wrong I tell you, it's just wrong.

LOL - I am offically scared now. This doesn't sound like any Disney Cruise I have been. Sure hope they still sell that big beer mug....I might need it.

That's not too far from my parents. We've checked it out a couple times, but the weekends when we can get there must be their high season, because we can never find a good rate or active coupon code. It does look like it's a blast though.

I'll keep my eye out for 'local specials' and let you know if I should see one. The chances of getting a 'decent rate' from now until after Easter is about as good as being upgraded to the Walt.

Thanks! We had a great time. The kids are both so tired that my son went to sleep with no fuss at all, and my daughter even went to bed early even though they have no school tomorrow (teacher workday!). Glad to be home though.

Katie is pretty observant of her surroundings. If we can keep her from seeing those 'Welcome to <insert state>' signs, we can get pretty far. She might notice when we start seeing palm trees, though, and of course she will realize it immediately when we get to Orlando. There are signs everywhere there. I can't wait to see how far we get, though! We thought about doing the same thing with the cruise next year, but I think we are going to surprise her at Christmas instead.

My DS never cared what I dressed him in. Even now he pretty much wears anything I buy...even likes wearing a tux for school concerts and formal night

My husband cares what I put Colby in more than Colby does. He seems to think that he is getting too old for smocking and fru fru clothes. I still think they are adorable on him, although it cracks me up that he looks more like a linebacker in them.

Now through Easter is probably not doable for us anyway, but if something came out after Easter but before summer at good price, that would work well. It's only a few hours drive from here, so it would make a great last-minute weekend trip. Thanks for keeping an eye out for us!

We would love to see you guys this summer if you make it to NY. And yes we are doing a double dip on the Dream in August. We were unable to get rooms in Vero, so it looks like AKL. We will have to suffer.

Sounds, like you'll really be suffering! We've never stayed at the AKL, but have visited for lunch and to check out the animals. Rooms at Vero are hard to get in the summer.

I've awakened sick today with my daughters sore throat and fever - and I sense my body fighting the onset of a cough? I am wondering if I should see a doc tomorrow or wait before I go? I don't know - I am not thiniking too clearly with my feverish pressurized head and the aches all over... Oh well... so this is my once every two year illness? Sigh... it's no fun...

Feel better soon!! My two youngest have this right now. I spent Friday afternoon in teh Ped's office with the youngest. Then spent this afternoon at a minor emergency clinic with 13yr DS. Sore throats, fevers but, not strep.
Of course my throat started hurting tonight.....but, I keep wondering ...does it really hurt that bad or am I just imagining it hurting? lol.
Some days I want a new life. lol.

We kept our cruise in 2006 a secret, and didn't tell our kids until the morning of our flight. It was soooooo hard keeping that secret for so long, and we had to speak in code all of time. But, it was very worth it the morning we revealed the surprise. I'll never forget how excited they were. The entire cruise long they kept thanking us over and over.

Thanks all for the kind thoughts...

I'm still feeling messed up - and it's odd with the aches and head pressure. Alicia says I have a fever and I don't doubt it - so I took more meds. And now I am beginning to feel better in a NUMB kind of way? You know?? When you can feel the medicine masking your symptomns but you can sort of still feel the symptomns?

My throat seems better but that may just be the meds. I still have chills.

I am still wondering if I need to see a doc - I am waiting for it to get worse then I might go? AND I figure 2 days for a viral infection to run its' course if that is all it is?

I don't like this sickly sensation - at least the symptomns are not out of control or extreme???
