Fabumouse has ANOTHER child coming!!! Congrats on their new addition.

Her name is Victoria...young female.

PLEASE add her to the Fish Extender List.

After a weekend away from reading the happenings on this board, aome back today to find new additions to our cruise - congratulations Fabumouse - more Texans and a request for jalapeno peanut brittle and pralines. :goodvibes

DW and I have definitely been brainstorming about FE gifts. We're excited to meet everyone and setting sail in what is now just weeks.

My TA said that about a month out he will be getting a binder of stuff from DCL and will be giving it to us. Being this is our first cruise on DCL, does anyone know more of an exact date than "about a month out"?

We are signed up for the pre-cruise package to Whistler starting on 6/17 as well so I'm thinking he should have this packet/binder by next week?

Probably overly paranoid, but then again when I booked Palo reservations online it wiped the Whistler package and charged me cancellation fees. So I'm sort of gunshy at this point.

Sorry, Kveens, my husband didn't include Victoria's age for Fabumouse. She's 13yo.

YAY! Cruise documents were in my mailbox just now. I already started packing, but need to get the late addition FE participants taken care of before I will really feel relaxed about the upcoming cruise.

Isn't all the info from those on the first sailing exciting? And we get the most daylight for our sailing, so we will be able to see so much of the inside passage before it gets dark! :woohoo: I think I may need to get an additional memory card for my camera, since there will be so much to take photos of.

Anyone want to step forward to organize a meet-up? Only 40 more days!

Kerri:)

Just got back from vacation in Arizona (loved the sun and heat) and caught up with the discussions. Our family is getting really excited about the cruise. I need to get together with my artist friend and make our door magnets. We're driving up to Vancouver on Friday, the 17th, and staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Metrotown. We'll be sightseeing at Grouse Mountain, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, Stanley Park, and Granville Island before the cruise. We're looking forward to cruising with all of you!

Doing the doc dance!!

We got our cruise docs in the mail today. Well, *I* did!! We have 2 rooms booked, but we only got docs for one of them. Luckily it is the room that has my name on the reservation. Whew!! DH and DD will just have to wait I guess!

My kids got their docs today too. Not me and my husband though!

We got two booklets even though we're all in the same room. I thought that was odd, and more paper to tote, but whatever. It's almost here!

:cool1:We got our docs too!!! I cannot wait!!! :cool1: It is coming fast...it sounds like the first few cruises had great experiences!

No documents in my mailbox yet. . just one of those traffic tickets from the sneaky traffic cameras they've been setting up everywhere. I knew it was coming because I remember seeing the darned flash even though it was back at the end of March when it happened. I watched the video and STILL maintain that the light was yellow as I entered the intersection. Oh well!!

On the bright side, maybe the documents will be a nice surprise on Monday!

I'm all booked now- hotel/rental car is set up in Seattle, we're flying to Vancouver on the day before the cruise and staying at the Hyatt Regency for a night. I have no shore excursions booked (though DD is going along with my mom on one of the dog sledding excursions), but I REALLY want to make the msot of our time on the ship and am determined to see some of the nightlife, watch movies (Pirates 4 and Cars 2 are at the top of my list), enjoy the Alaskan scenery, and eat myself silly.

I saw that the characters are appearing in "Alaskan" costumes, and that made me ridiculously giddy! Yes, I get a thrill out of things like Eskimo Minnie and Rain Slicker Mickey!

Also doing the cruise doc dance!:cool1::cool1::cool1:
Now to go find some jalapeno peanut brittle...........................

As DH stated above, we've gotten our documents! Thank goodness he's taken control of this, our first DCL cruise--and our first cruise ever! We can't wait to get our FE gifts together and are awaiting the arrival of our FE! :yay:

This is our first cruise together:
Marion(myself)
Michael(my other half)
Dillon(15 BF's son)
Judy(my mom):dance3:
