June 2018 park hours

We will be there from June 20-26. There is evening magic hours on our check-in and check-out days only. We can maybe make the one on the 20th but we have a later dinner reservation and we will sadly be back in NY for the one on the 26.

Going same days as you and I can confirm ur mk emh findings. Our check in day we are going all out, Crystal palace dinner at 5 dessert party for hea than staying till the end of emh.

I don't know for sure about last year, but I'm positive that on June 22, 2016, MK was open until midnight with EMH until 2:00 a.m. We were there. My kids (teens) *still* talk about how we stayed at MK until 2:00 a.m. that night. I think that MK was only open until 10:00 every night in June 2017.

I'm pretty sure we was there that night too. Walking on rides that late was AWESOME.

Our days at Disney this year are June 9th thru June 22nd.

Ditto for me although we did stay until midnight one night with the extra magic hours. I thought that the extra magic hours would be really crowded since 10 pm to midnight is not super late but they weren’t that bad and we were able to ride a lot.

I'm glad to hear this as we are doing eve emh at MK in May and the park closes at 9pm so emh is 9-11. We too have enjoyed those 11-1am emh hours in the past. Hopefully we can get on a lot of rides, it is always so cool in the park after closing.

Our last trip we missed eve emh at MK due to the fact only night was offered and it was our departure day. So this trip we made sure to plan around that so we'd be there for that. We are missing the eve emh at Epcot this trip (we can't stay a full week) but we are ok with that.

No doubt due to extended AK hours because of Pandora opening up.

I would expect similar hours for MK in 2018 along with extended hours at HS this summer due to TSL opening up.

The hope is that MK hours will be extended at least for June since Toy Story Land doesn’t open until the end of the month. July and August may stay on a shorter schedule.

We won’t feel like we’re getting our money’s worth if the last park closes at 10.

So they have them, they just don’t really fit into your schedule. And I guess I thought AK had night EMH but it looks like have 2 AM ones. Interesting.

Don’t count on extended mk hours. Last summer it was rarely open past 10. Disney summer hours have been dramatically cut back.

This is correct. They keep adding hours to Animal Kingdom to account for Pandora's popularity. That place never had night time hours in years past. Now they do. So Disney is just moving crowds to AK instead of MK

But as of today, even AK is only scheduled to be open until 9:00 every night in June and no evening EMH scheduled there either. I think those hours will be extended as we get closer to June, but as of now all of May (except the first few days) AK closes at 9:00 with no evening EMH. AK was open until 11:00 every night with EMH until 1:00 a.m. every Monday in June 2016....and that was before Pandora even opened. I really hope *something* is open late in June.

They updated the MK hours for May around April 16 or 17. June will probably be updated around the same time in May.

That must have been years ago. WDW has cut their summer hours shorter in the past few years. Don't expect regular midnight closings. Midnight will probably only be the time evening EMH ends at MK once a week.

One or two EMH nights that bring the park to a 12 close just isn’t enough with summer crowds IMO — that’s what summer seems to show so far (like it stayed last year). Hope that changes.

agreed we are there 19-26 and we have one midnight EMH. hoping for a few late nights to beat the heat. We love our pool time so it will enable us to get back later after our mid day break.

Interesting they extended the hours but no additional FPs showed up. I have been trying to move our FoP up a little bit.
