Hey guys, I just wanted to point out the fact that we can all finally say that we will be in DLR next month. Ok, now back to your planning
.
Sometimes the entertainment schedule don't actually fully come out that far aheadEveryone is saying lower hours are due to grad night but today the times for Monday the 12th are the same. And there is no Grad Night that night. Disappointing about soundsational parade. This is my wife's first time and we won't be able to see it. It really helped with crowds during the day.
I'm trying to decide if our break day would be better on a Sun vs Sat? Our park days would be Thur, Fri, Sat or Sun, Mon, Tues. As far as I can see only deluxe AP are blocked out on Sat so I'm thinking we should do our Hollywood/Beach tour on Sun? Any opinions?
Yes we have 5 full days. YAY! 1st day to get settled in hotel, check out DTD, and dinner at Goofy's. I ended up adding on a extra day so we could not a "break" day. We plan on staying until closing our last night since we can sleep in. Our flight doesn't leave SNA until 8:25 the next day so we can hit the pool or get any last minute goodies from DTD. We leave on a Thurs so I'm thinking we may need to leave a bit earlier for the airport due to traffic.Sounds like you will have 5 full days in the park? If so, that is awesome!
I have a question to all of you Disneyland vets out there. We will be staying in a 2 bedroom villa at VGC on our upcoming trip and normally we would have groceries delivered to our room on our arrival day. Well DH and I were discussing this the other night and we decided that since we would just wait and go grocery shopping when we get there. My question is what are the nearest grocery stores to Disneyland? We won't have a car so we would be taking a taxi there while DMIL and our DDs stay behind to go swimming/hang out in the room. We just want to buy a few things like snacks, breakfast items, milk, pop, water, beer/wine, and laundry detergent. Any suggestions on where would be the closest and easiest place to get to? Thanks for all of your help. Oh yeah, one more thing...35 days to go.

Our dates and hotel changed, but we are locked and loaded now. June 13-20th at the Castle Inn.
We have myself, my DD17, DD5 and DD19 going this trip. DD17 & DD19 are going to DL for 3 days, 1 day Universal, and 1 day Knott's. DD5 and I are going for 5 days to DL. (yay!!)
From what I have found there are 2 grad nights while we're there - the 15th and the 17th. I've built in a "rest" day, so it will probably be that Friday the 17th. I think we want to visit the beach - does anyone have a preferred or suggested beach?
Our first day is our special day. We will be getting pictures and doing character meets in our "Grad" wear. I'm so excited for this trip!!!![]()
I think the 18th is a grad night too. We're going to be there during the same time frame and that's what I have written down in my planner.

The Disneyland calendar shows a grad night on the 18th. When do the grad nights end? Just wondering if that will be the last one?
We were there a few years ago during grad night and didn't even notice a difference between grad and non-grad nights.
The last grad night I see is the 17th. That works for me!!! Not that it makes a huge difference. I was there last year during 100'+ temps and CHOC walk crowds, so crowded I can deal with. Just thinking a bazillion HS seniors running around might get a little over the top.
You are right, the last grad night on the calendar is the 17th...I was mistaken!
Temps over 100+ would be too hot for me even if I was the only one in the park!
