Couple of more questions -

The emails you get with the pins....Who are they from? Disney Insider? I don't get many disney emails at all.

Second, what is the best disney guide book out there?

Disney Destination. We just a got a pin earlier this week. They are always from Disney Destinations.

I assume everyone here has a problem with obessive disney planning like me. The thing that drives me the most crazy is deciding what to do each day...and I know darn good and well that I can't do that until the park hours come out...which won't be until December! And yet I still plan plan plan every day.

I have even started picking stuff up at the store already for our trip. However, I did get a new bathing suit for $20 (originally $90) on clearance for our new trip! So I guess my craziness as it's advantages.

You're going to find that everyone has SUCH great ideas... it makes you think of so many things you might never have thought of. I don't know if you've been over on the Dining Threads yet, but there's a ton of dining reviews w/ pictures from people's trips. I know for us, it's helped alot when planning where we were going to eat! But we're all here to help each other !!

I'm ready to join the watch group! I am planning on a 10 day spilt stay trip June 16th through 26th. I haven't made reservations yet but hoping to stay in a LM AoA room for three nights and then BC for 7 nights.
I have recieved 2 pin codes and a mailer this past week but of course none for 2013.
I haven't made reservations yet hoping that it will increase my chances for more offers, but will have to make some before making ADRs in Dec.
Hope we get some news soon about discounts!

Should I be worried that I don't get any emails at all from Disney Destinations? My trip is scheduled and it shows up under reservations on the WDW website. We booked it in July.

You are so not alone! I just bought some new luggage from QVC (SUCH a good price!). Sure I can use luggage anytime, but let's be honest. I bought it for DISNEY!

I am taking a day off work on our 180 mark (December 10th!) to make our reservations for dining. Then I'll spend the rest of the day lounging and making Christmas cookies! So excited!

That's brilliant !! An Official ADR Day! I love it!!!!

My ADR day lands on Christmas Day....not sure if that will be a blessing (lots of people probably have better things to do that day..;) or a curse (almost everyone is off work that day...)

Double check your spam folder to make sure they aren't in there.

I don't get them anymore either, but I think its because we are AP holders. Might be time to make another email address and see what happens

BTW, love the idea of making ADR day Christmas Cookie baking day!! Mine in 12/8 (a Saturday). Maybe I can pull out the Mickey cookie cutter and use red and green sprinkles to make them festive!

I got a PIN mailer yesterday!! My first ever!! Can I use it - NO cause it's for December but at least I got one! It doesn't seem to be that great of a deal as it's $100/nt for value, $174/nt for mods, and $305/nt for deluxe Sun-Thurs. At least I'm on their radar. Just send me something for June!!!

Be Our Guest
Liberty Tree Tavern
50's Prime Time
Mama Melroses
Tusker House
Akershus in Norway
Rose and Crown

I think we're only going to make 2 ADR's - the character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and the Hoop Dee Doo Revue.

Our MUST ADRs are:
Biergarten - family favorite and must do every trip
Tepan Edo - This is for DD - who is in love with everything Japanese these days
Boma - another family favorite. I thought it was just OK, but DD and DH thought that this place was the cats meow.

Now that DS will be 10, its our first trip without character meals. I just can't see paying $25 + for breakfast ( even though he is a big eater). We aren't trying for anything hard like BOG, Le Cellier, CG, 'Ohana etc.

But our must do's are:
Sci Fi lunch during SWW
Kona Cafe & Tokyo Dining for sushi
Plaza & LTT lunch
And our EPCOT favs- Rose n Crown & Via Napoli

We also plan on more DTD since we have the boat from POFQ so T-Rex, Portobello, Raglan Road & Paradiso 37
