June 2013 and AP blackouts

So the AP blackout calendar is up for june 2013 and I can now see that June 3-6 are the last unblocked days for the So Cal Select AP's. So Cal seems to be open for most of June during the week at least.

We were leaning towards going the first week of June and being in the parks the 2nd through 5th. Crowd wise do you think the 2nd week of June would be better since So Cal Select AP's will be blocked?

I doubt it will matter much in June 2013. The AP surge - so to speak - are AP holders with pending blockouts who are visiting the parks on days they are rightfully allowed. This tends to happen in a significant way when something new such as CarsLand opens in June. Next year there is nothing new slated to happen. Disney will always come up with something, but if it was big they would have to be building it now. And they are not.

My prediction is one might see a bit of AP blockout effect in later June as the blockout approaches, but it will be nothing like this year. If it was me I would pay more attention to the grad nights in June 2013 than the AP blockout calendar.

I figured if we're in the parks Sunday-Wed then both of those weeks Wednesday is the only day we'd be dealing with Grad nights.

This will be our first "summer" trip, so we're still trying to figure it all out. We haven't completely ruled out July or August yet either.
