June 2007 Rate/Code Watch

They already have the code for your time frame for the free water parks/hopping upgrade, I don't forsee any other codes for that time, they already released AP rates. Did you book the other code to get free hopping,etc.?

Yes we have pkg w/ free water parks/hopping and with dining. We have 10-day passes, but we only booked for 4 days with dining. I was told that I can extend our days to get more dining if available. We're not so sure dining is for us...picky teenagers....CS works ok,but not so sure about TS. Thought we could try dining but not be stuck with it if kids only want hamburgers etc.

SO.....we're wanting AP for WL for either std or WV however they only have CV-bunk and I can't go $244 a night at this point. I'd have to upgrade one of our tickets to get AP and at this point with upgrade cost and room cost ...well it doesn't work for us right now.

Anyway I'm hoping for a room-only code to come out. We'll be staying the first part of June too and we could do a split-stay to get better rate, .......so that's my hopeful plan.

April/May codes were just released last week so I would figure you won't see July discounts for another 2 months. But, they could be worth the wait. We got an awesome rate last July at SSR for a studio (and we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom villa!) I do also remember YC/BC running amazing rates under $200 a night. Some real good stuff, so I hope for some good ones this summer!

Finally broke down and booked AKL standard view 2 connecting rooms for July 14-21 for $182 plus tax per room per night with AAA discount. Still holding my breath for AP rate. I knew we wanted WL or AKL standard view room because we need 2 rooms and I am trying to save a little over my fave the Poly (taking 2 of our DD's friends with us).

Fingers are crossed for an AP rate...We may even switch resorts if a good one comes out for someplace other than WL.

Oh, definently will try for Poly if AP rates come out!!! Gotta have my fave!! I agree the standard view rooms at WL, AKL do keep costs down a bit, in fact, I think I paid just a few hundred $ less during thanksgiving week for the Poly versus my 2 rooms at AKL this summer. Heres hoping.

If a decent AP rates hit, we may try for the Poly, but even a discount of $100/room/night will leave the price tag pretty steep. I think we're more likely to go for a Woods, Courtyard or CL upgrade at the WL depending on the discount and availability. We'll just have to wait and see what comes available and evaluate it on the fly...

Ya know I hadn't run the numbers if the discount came out, so there may be no Poly for us either.

Couldn't wait for our Christmas trip so we have just booked flights for June 21 to 28.

A code would be great we are AP holders so just looking for room only.

Now I just need to decide where to stay in case codes don't appear. I'm a deluxe girl at heart but without a discount it may have to be a moderate.

that is us this year too, I can't afford our normal WL without a code, and going mid-june I don't have my hopes up. After a TON of research and looking into each Moderate we decided on POFQ, like the transportation option of boat to DTD first on and off the buses so sitting more likely, like the theming, and smallness of the resort=proximity to everything.

Count me in as watching. We are already booked at the Beach Club,
June 10th - June 15th. We are planning on staying off site our first night in Orlando. I am SO willing to stay onsite if a good code comes out. Looking for a little pixie dust!

Did anyone else notice that they took away the AP rate thru 6/2? Now it's only thru 5/24.
