June 2007 Rate/Code Watch

Count us in for the July crowd this year too! We usually go in mid June but this year we will be 3 nights at the Poly and 6 nights at the VWL early July.. I think our dates will be July 7-16 but I'm not totally sure yet. Here's hoping for AP rates!! :sunny:

We're going to be there 7/2 to 7/8, but since I've read about thr POP I'm not sure I want to stay there. It's looking more like POFQ this time!

We will be traveling to WDW July 1-10 2007. I'm hoping to get a good convention discount, but looking for one better is my goal. Staying at CSR.

We will be there for our Disneymoon 7/8-7/17 at AKL too, would love to get a better price. I have a question about AAA rates, do you have to book through AAA to get them or can you apply special rates just because you are a member? :confused3

CastleLight- how cool, we have the same wedding date! :p

:) June is not too busy Kids are not out of School yet. You can make res. in March and you should be OK.

Does anyone have a clue what kind of package deals you can get with AAA in June of 2007? I have booked a room through Disney already but I was wondering if anyone know what type of packages/rates AAA has for that time. We are a family of 4 (3 adults, 1 jr) staying at POP.

Thanks

I have to disagree with that. I know around here most if not all of Texas gets out of school around May 25th to June 1st and a lot head for WDW. We'll be there June 2-10th.

I would try and make a ressie by at least Jan to get the value of your choice.

Welcome to the 7/07 thread :welcome: and congratulations on your upcoming wedding! :bride: :groom:

You can get the AAA rate on room-only reservations through Disney directly, and I think through any TA. I think you need to go through AAA Travel if you want to book a package reservation with the AAA discount.

Thank You for the info! :goodvibes

Just got back and already looking at a mid-June trip - hoping for some AP room only codes !

Count us in...we are heading to WDW July 22-29. It has been a long time since I have posted on these boards. We have been through a lot in these last 5 months, as you can see by the photos. Our youngest daughter was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma in July and has been in the hospital since then receiving intense chemotherapy. These photos are from some rare times of being home for a weekend--can you tell she's happy about being home!? She is doing well, but she has a couple more months of treatment remaining.

One of the things she asked when she was diagnosed was, "When I am all better, can we go to Disney?" Soooooo--we have reservations for Polynesian, Garden View, with AAA rate. We will be there for the one year anniversary since diagnosis and we will be celebrating CURE!!!!! How's that for something to celebrate?! :thumbsup2

It has given us all something to look forward to--the return to "normal life". "Normal life" has been redefined many times for us since July. My eyes fill with tears every time I think of being at Disney in July with our whole family walking up Main Street and watching Wishes...it will happen!

Glad to read everything seems to be heading the right direction. I'd say your family is entitled to a nice WDW vacation during the YOAMD. Enjoy!

Hi, I'm new to this board and I'm planning on having an overseas family reunion at WDW from July 21-29. We would like to stay at the Wilderness Lodge Villas since there will be 10 of us getting together - I'm thinking a two BR and a studio will work. Does anybody know if the sofa beds are comfortable?

Second, third, and fourth questions - How does the AAA discount work? Do you book thru Disney, a travel agent, or thru AAA? Can I book now to hold the rooms and then apply the discounts when they come out?

I've only been to WDW once, when I was 10 or so, so it's been over two decades since I've been there ... I've read that things have changed a bit there! Seven of the ten people have never been to WDW, so it'll be a nice trip for all of us. We did go to Disneyland Hong Kong last summer, it was nice but very small, you can go thru the entire park in two days.

Happy Holidays!:goodvibes

we're headed to BCV June 10-15, and are hoping to get a good deal on a value for June 9th to crash in.

I'm not getting my hopes up for an AP in June. Didn't get one last year so I don't expect it this year. I booked the Poly for 12 nights starting June 17th using a AAA rate. I got it for $340 GV per night.

Just booked my 07/21-29/07 stay at VWL! I sure hope Santa delivers some discount codes for Christmas! :-)
