I think we have decided to go June 2006. When we went in 2002 I found many discounts. From the looks of things that isn't possible anymore. How should I go about getting the best deal? Are there any discounts besides AAA? How do you become a AAA member?

I'll let the other AAA threads answer that question for you. Yes, I'm also finding fewer "deals" this trip (we go June/July) but armed with my AP and DDE, it will still allow me savings. I'm a Disney VISA holder and they have excellent discounts on some of the tours that we're going to do (KTTK and Sedgeway in EPCOT). Tourism is definitely up from the 2002 time frame, so they don't have to offer as many incentives. Still, the DDE costs $50 and we'll save that back in the first couple meals and the AP is always a steady provider of savings.
