It was someone that was on a 7 day over earth day. I will look for the thread but I don't know how to link. She said something about it being earth day and also said that was the only package that they offered. That doesn't seem right. I will go look for it.

Ok If I knew how to edit I would fix the last post but I don't know how to do that either. The place were I saw the info on Shutters was on the TRip Report section. Go down to "Back from 4-18 western cruise". Looks like it was only done that one time.

Just have him call the court and see if they offer a deferral for situations like these. Most courts understand these types of things (as well as child care issues and the like). He will have to serve again in the following year or so (depends on the court) and he may have to show proof of the trip. However, I would be surprised if they didn't give him relief. . .

My husband just got a jury duty notice for the 15th! We're supposed to be at WDW that day. The cruise is paid for, of course. Does travel insurance even cover that?

Leia's mom is right. Call, then write. I had to move my jury duty once, and I was surprised how easy it was. I just had to give a week within the year that I was available. I moved it to the week of Thanksgiving. I had to show up one day and the case was settled out of court. I was told that a lot of cases are pushed to be settled the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I know, we booked one of those. We got a call from disney telling us that the vendor had pulled out. And that we needed to book another.

Yep, that's correct. We didn't get a call from Disney...I was checking our ressie to see if anything had changed (i.e. upgrade), and saw the notification regarding the excursion xcel. Called DCL and had it confirmed.

We had booked the St. Thomas Island Tour. DS and I discussed it this afternoon and have replaced it with the Screamin' Eagle Boat Ride...it looks fun.

No, haven't received an upgrade. I read in Passporter that you can ask for an upgrade at check in (for a higher fee!). Have any of you ever done that?
