Maybe if we're lucky someone will bring some name tags. I can be terrible w/ names too, but looking forward to meeting everyone.

I'll bring the list of times for tastings & see if we can get some people together for a tasting . There are sooo many--this may be harder to organize, but we can try. We could also just pick another time for a DIS meet, such as on Deck 10 near the bar that isn't always open. People could still keep an eye on kids while relaxing a little.

DH doesn't really want to do to tea w/ me. I love any excuse to go to Palo.

How about Monday for for High Tea???

Just think about it & I'll take names on Saturday & then talk to PJ at Palo to see if we can get a big table or the special room.

I am definitely up for any tastings or high tea. I thought the High Tea had no more reservations left at Palo, but I could be wrong. Let me know what all of you think.

You are right, but I can check on Saturday if there are any possible openings for that big room. I won't find out until later that night or Sunday most likely. A friend of mine has gotten that room for brunch & tea after already being onboard. I don't know how it works, but it sounds like they hold that room open for special parties. I'll call her & check how.

We'll have to do a tasting as our 2nd choice.

I can recommend the Beer Tasting. It was a very fun interactive environment & people can stay afterwards to chat easily if they have time. Stem to Stern was also fantastic!

Just think about it & we can do a sign up at the DIS meet on Saturday & I can be to "go to girl" to call if people want to add after that.

In all my excitement/planning/etc., somehow I missed the location of the DIS Meet on Saturday. I think it's at 3p in the Promenade lounge - is that right?

Can't wait to meet everyone! We've got 3 rounds of FE gifts (minor, but fun!) as we have had an absolute blast doing this on previous cruises. My DD12 has been chatting with a couple of other DD's here and making her own plans to meet up and have fun.

Come on, Friday! Need to get out of this crazy Texas weather and on that plane to FL!!!

I still have to put my FE's together. I'm packing now. DH & youngest son leave on 6:05 am flight tomorrow & eldest DS and I leave on a 6:40 pm flight tomorrow.


Packing w/ DH is always an experience. He's an enginerd & I lovingly call him that, but he's always IMHO over thinking & slowing us down.

For those of you that haven't left yet, I need a favor.

I was on the first Tortola Disney cruise and I need to ask a favor of anyone going to the Baths. I brought a little plastic bottle to collect sand at The Baths but I forgot to collect the sand and am very sad that I didn't.

Would anyone be willing to collect a little ziplock baggie of sand and mail it to me? I will pay you for shipping of course. The bottle is only 2 inches tall so I don't need a ton of sand. Just a little. This would mean so much to me. Please PM me if you'd be willing to help me out.

FYI, I didn't confirm but I'd put in the request a few weeks ago for PLAPLAP...so who knows, we may end up tablemates!

Thank you, Lynn!!! I believe the necklace $25 or $28. I bought it at a store on Main Street in Road Town called Latitudes.
