Cris, I must agree...however, part of my distraction is self-induced. Shortly after our first cruise, we received a CD from DCL. Some of you may have received it as well...8 tropical songs, preceded by the dulcet tones of the DCL horn! Well, I've copied that on to my MP3 player, which means I have the cruise on the brain when I'm on the bus in the morning, half of the workday, as I take my lunchtime walk, back again on the bus in the evening...oh yeah, then I get a dose of the DCL DVD prior to nodding off to bed at night.

Yep, I need this vacation....

That's a great CD! I have the DCL horn as the ring tone on my phone!

Have not been in here in a loooooooooong time!

My nephew is no longer going but my daughters boyfriend is. Nephew decided he'd rather to go Jamaica w/ his girlfriend! Oh well!

So we have me, my husband, my sister, another sister and her partner and their son who is 8 and our daughter 18 and her bf 19!

3 weeks and 3 days!!!!

ANOTHER 8 YEAR OLD BOY -- Yeah! My DS Logan will be 8 July 8. Mary's Patrick is turning 9. Logan and Patrick were emailing for a bit before the end of school rush took over.

Mary -- Logan will probably want to call Patrick this weekend since Cruise fever has struck. We need to make sure that they hook up with Lisa's 8 year old nephew.

I did a dry run on of the boy's carryon to see how much I could get in there. I have a list made out with everything on it but I have not started packing yet. My plan is to do that on Wed. before the cruise. I hope. I have all my shopping done. I got my hair done today. I cannot wait. This will be our first disney cruise. deanna

Ha Ha, I have a list on my refrigerator, one in my purse, one on my iphone, just so I'm sure I have everything covered!

The luggage won't come up from the crawl space until the Sunday before, won't actually start the packing until that Wednesday (which is laundry day, why put it away, when I can just put it in the suitcase!).

I'm glad I'm not the only one not packed for this trip yet either! I have placed things in areas around my house, but have yet to get everything together in one spot. Today, I seem to be obsessing about 1) remembering an extension cord, 2) remembering our light-up clock radio, 3) stopping the mail and newspaper!

Hi, all...15 days and counting now!

A couple of reminder for everyone from my little corner of the world:

1) Excel spreadsheet of DCL activities is available. It includes such items as:

• Show Schedule
• Evening Dress
• Drink of the Day
• Pirate/Dessert Buffet dates/times
• Suspected character breakfast dates/times (based off of previous cruises)
• Daily lunch theme in Topsiders

PM me with your e-mail addy if you want this.

2) DisMeet at 3PM Saturday, Promenade Lounge, Deck 3. ALL are invited to attend.

3) Facebook group is created for anyone who wishes to see some pics of each other prior to boarding. Search Facebook for "The Magic of Tortola" group.

4) For those in the FE exchange, a spreadsheet is available with names, ages, and other pertinent info of all the participants...based off of the wonderful list that Amy (Leia's Mom) organized.

Again, PM me if you are a FE participant, want the list, but haven't received it.

So, what are you doing this weekend to prepare? We have company next week, so this weekend is a weekend to get stuff done!

Here's my list for this weekend:

1. Start putting clothes aside that I won't need in the next 2 weeks.
2. Buy sunscreen
3. Finish getting FE stuff together
4. Finish packing list
