Just what you want to happen before you leave on a huge, waiting all year vacation. I get home from work today and my DS had a fever of 102.4. He never gets sick.

Poor guy! Hope he feels better soon. Nothing worse than flying when you don't feel well.

If you are arriving the day before, why worry? We are Atlanta to Barcelona arriving Fri morning...I fugure we have a whole day to ensure against weather snafus...

You are right, of course, it's just that after all this time my mind plays tricks on me, like what if all the Spain bound flights are booked on Friday too, and we spend our vacation in the Philly airport.... I know, I'm losing it!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes.

I took Austin to the Doctor last night and again this morning. He is taking a very strong antibiotic. Saying a prayer that he will be ok when it is time to fly out.

I started my packing tonight. Yay!!

We are all packed and leaving at 4:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. LAX to Philly to Frankfurt to Barcelona. It still doesn't seem real. Looking forward to a great adventure. See you on the ship!
