Following up on the Day at the Farm excursion with DCL to get more information. The representative I spoke to didn't have any more information than is available on the website. It took her quite a while to "get" what I was talking about. After explaining that if the times in the description remain the same, three hours at a farm, plus driving time, plus lunch, it does not leave much (if any) time to "relax" by the pool. I explained that the relaxing pool time was very important to me, and I wanted to know how long we would be there.
She agreed that the times listed would have to change given the new docking schedule, and promised to contact MS for me and have them get back to me with the new schedule. Three days later, I'm still waiting for more information. I also asked if the price would be reduced to reflect the shorter day. To her credit she didn't laugh (IOW a big "no").
I'm pretty sure I'm going to drop this excursion. The new times are listed as 8:45 to 3:30, the original was 9:15 to 4:30, making the excursion 1.5 hours shorter. I'm pretty convinced that lost time is going to come at the expense of the pool, which is the part I was most looking forward to. Maybe I'll hear differently from MS, but I'm not holding my breath. Very disappointed!
I canceled this today, too much time on the bus especially with long days planned in Naples and Rome the next two days. I decided to go with a 1/2 day market tour and cooking class in Palermo with my DD (9) instead (not the DCL offering that they want $399 for).
Does anyone know how the boarding is in Barcelona. Is it the same as Port Canaveral, e.g. if you get there early at about 10am you'd be on by noon?

Hey Carolinagirls; we are leaving from Atlanta on the 16th and are also flying Delta. Not sure when our flight leaves. I do know we have one layover.

We'll be back to the ship by 2:00 pm so I'm hoping for some semi-quiet pool time with both DD's before everyone gets back from their excursions.
Only 39 days to go! I'd better start getting on the stair stepper if I plan on climbing the tower in Pisa...![]()

Went over to Home Depot and got a few of the paint chips - I didn't see anything called "Lime Green" so I picked up "Alien Green". It looks like a bright lime green to me.
I picked up quite a few extras. jns, I'll save four for you and I'll still have more left over. I'll plan on bringing them with me, just in case.
I think I am probably missing something regarding these paint chips. Does Home Depot have Mickey-shaped paint chips? Or are we just talking about regular paint chips in a lime-green color?
Sent you a PM. I think we are direct Atlanta to Barcelona. Atlanta is our layover.
We don't have a
room assignment yet.

You can book your tickets to climb the Leaning Tower of Pisa starting today. Go to http://www.opapisa.it/en/home-page.html
From what I've read, if you don't buy your ticket online you will be out of luck. This may be especially true on a Saturday. Also, they do hold to your ticket time so you need to know when you want to go. Again, I have read these things but don't have personal experience with it. Also, the minimum age is 8. 17 per person.
