Just wondering if someone could explain the secret Palo Room for me.

We really wanted to do Palo brunch this time - not bothered about dinner, but have not been able to book at all even on the 90 day 8.a.m. her in England slot.

Quite agree with about falling asleep at shows I am terrible for that. Only one that kept me wide awake was "We will Rock you"and also "dancing on ice" at Wembley. Seem to be able to manage that at the shows on board also, how bad is that.

There is a dining room inside of Palo that seats 10-12. It's on the far end of Palo and is used for special occasions - groups, etc. We've been trying to reserve it since we had such a large group.

Here's the updated list for the Meet and Greet in the Roy Suite! If you notice, out to the far right hand side I have added a number which I believe is the number of your party. I am just trying to get a possible total number of people so we have plenty of drinks and goodies. If your cabin number or number of people in your party is incorrect please let me know. For those of you without cabin numbers I know you are still waiting on them, so just let me know when you are assigned a cabin.

Why chance it? If the dresses don't comply, wear something else. I'm sure you'd hate to get there and be turned away.

OK - who was it that pointed out the cheap rates online for cat 12? Don't know whether to hug you or hit you (ha)! The price difference if we switched from cat 6 to 12 would be $8,600!!! Is it worth that much for an outside cabin with balcony?? Ugh!

Believe you me she was shocked too! Wow! It does make you think is the balcony or window worth it for a room (@ least for us) you're not in a lot. But as I said to her the window is well worth it! We have a category 9 with window.

Wow...$4253 difference for us between Cat 12 and Cat 10. The only difference room-wise is the split bathroom. Hmmmm....

Yeah, and I've gotta think that some of the 12's will be bumped up to 10 or 11. If I were in a cat 10 or 11, I'd definitely do it. Just not sure I want to give up my balcony. It better be a REALLY nice balcony!!

How does Disney handle upgrades? I'm assuming that if they have open slots in say, category 6, they would bump up the 7's. I wonder how they choose who to upgrade? Food for thought!

OMG!!! WOW!!!! That is definitely something to think about. We're in whatever the category is with a porthole but if we were in a balcony cabin I might be reconsidering. Seriously, that is a large chunk of money!! Just think of the excursions and souveneirs you could buy with that....

Wouldn't it be great if disney said..hey we have all these window/balcony rooms lets move everyone to the outside of the ship instead of having the empty rooms. Doubt it will happen but one could hope.

I received the pirate sweatshirt for my daughter today. She LOVED it! Put it right on and was showing everyone. Thanks for putting up the logo again. I am still waiting for my banner shirt. Should be here tomorrow.

I also cancelled my palermo tour, I found a great walking tour that went to all the places that the bus tour took you to. And the only fees are entrances etc. It saved $88.00, I can't think I will spend that much walking around. The tour is in the frommers book which I will bring with me and share if anyone else wants to take a look. I haven't really found anything more about sardinia. In my book on it, it says to take a day trip to the maddalena, but you have to start in palau? and I don't know how to get to palau to do that. There really isn't much on bus systems etc or even the ferry. If anyone has any good links post them please.
I also cancelled the naples/sorrento/capri. I am going to do that on my own.
See how adventurous I am getting?!

I cancelled ulitmate rome and got the Jumping back!!! Very excited...

Florence and Pisa are still not available, so I kept the Pisa one.

Ok, thats my news for tonight..so now that today is over there are only 44 MORE DAYS until we leave for barcelona.

Well time is certainly moving on fast here time to get the important details sorted. Trying to work out how many washes I will need to do in the 11 nights and how many washing tablets I should pack. Dont know what powder they have on the boat but use non-biological and it is not a problem to pack a few.

Weather here in Kent is still wonderful - cold wind off the sea but in my back garden it is just right for catching up on the garden.

Eldest daughter is going to South of France for the weekend with some of her work friends from here in Sheppey. She flies back late Monday so are going to meet her up en route on Tuesday.

Just remembered that last year there was a bank promotion and they flew the winners to Monte Carlo for a few days. I remember her going to the Rothchild villa for dinner one night as special guests and they flew them in by helicopter in all of their posh gear. Have a picture of her leaving the helicopter with waves lapping at her feet as it was windy that night.

Oh how the other half live.
