My DH submitted a third vacation request for cat. 9 with DU and we decided to spluge from cat. 10. Our DD (11) and DD (7) love the porthole -- what the heck we have 1 year to pay for it.

Woo hoo page 5 girls we are doing well. Are you serious Club Med is taken? Okay we have to incorporate the mouse. You know Teresa we still have a year to work on Willie and Kellie. I bet lots of cabins will release on put up or shut up date.

Hey guys I made good progress today on my packing. Other than feeling 20 pounds too heavy after standing in front of mirrors today trying on swimsuits.

So Glad to be booked.
Like many others I got up on Tuesday morning at 5:00 am (California time) and started dialing. I also tried and tried online. After several hours I was happy to have a category 4.
We really hoped for at least a category 3 like we had when we last sailed on the magic.
Well... Now I can look forward to visiting the med and have another reason to sail again and get that cat 2.

Time to start researching the places we'll see. For some it'll be "Rome"antic but for all it will "Nice" (I can't believe nobody used those yet)

Hi everyone and welcome from a bright but unseasonally cold England.
This will be our second Disney cruise. We booked last year on the Western that was diverted to Eastern because of the Wilma problems. Absolutely loved it and could find no fault with anything.

Just my husband and I this year - two adult daughters joined us last year.
Will be great to visit some of our old haunts in Italy - My first trip abroad many years ago was to Italy a place named Sestri Levante not too far from Pisa.

Our planning to fly to Barcelona the day before the cruise and are at present looking at hotels for that night. Will be great when we know more and what time we can embark on the day of sailing.

Cannot wait to get my feet on that deck again.

Where are you in England? We are trying to get friends of ours from across the pond to join us They are in London right now.

We booked yesterday. Myself, DH, DS(8) and DD(5-will be 6 at cruise time).

This will be our 2nd Disney Cruise. We were on the California cruise last June and had a great time.

Good Morning Everyone and welcom to all the DISers who have joined our cruise!!!

I think a tag line for our cruise sounds great, but we better do it quick before others think of it. I'm not very creative but I'll help as most as possible.

I like the idea of "Club Med" so how about - "Disney's Club Med" or "Mickey's Club Med" I told you I wasn't very creative.

OK, I just gave DU my credit card info to book our rooms. Still hoping somebody in a suite needs to switch dates or something... I'm going to miss that suite!

Now, to figure out the cheapest airfare from California to Barcelona.....

Anyone know what kind of rates that Grand Marina hotel has? Every date I search says there are no available rooms.

My thoughts for our tag line:

1. Magic in the Mediterranean
2. "Sea"ing the Med with Mickey
3. Making Magic in the Mediterranean

Jmcdonnell, my foot is back to normal. Keeping my fingers crossed that this cruise doesn't get messed up by injury like the last one. I feel like I need a do-over!

Hi everyone. I wonder if the cruise is sold out yet? Anyone gone on to check? My DS teacher said Barcelona is one of her favorite spots in the med. She said you have to try the Paella there. Lots of local artisans. Sounds beautiful.
