The VT students and families are in our prayers. It's a nightmare what happened there yesterday and it could happen anywhere. I just saw on TV students blaming the college for not giving them notice sooner. The blame game is not going to be pretty.

What a sad day it is, Virginia and Virginia Tech are both in our prayers. I hope they all will join together in the healing and not try to point fingers.

PurtyPat1, sorry about your sister and the basement, Can I still ask did you LOVE Wicked???? It's our favorite show right now. We've seen it once on Broadway and the traveling show too. My 9 year old knows almost the entire soundtrack!!!!

Ok, So is anyone else excited about missing the lifeboat drill. I so want to book an excursion just to get out of it now. lol

I guess i'm in full panic mode. The cruise jar is not filling up quick enough with the excursion money that I want it to have before we leave, lol. I seem to ask for extra change every check out i go thru now, lol. Don't tell!

Leilani- Thanks for that reassurance. I didn't want to have to adjust our excursion after we board. Although, my daughter informed me last night that if kids club was open she'd stay on board! Even though we were going to the aquarium! Crazy kid.

Thanks for continuing to answer my neverending questions.

I just tried to change one of our excursions and I had the same thing happen that has happened to everyone else. It would only let me book one of the 5 of us....my 15 year old sister. So, as of now, the 15 year old is going on the Marseille City Tour alone! The shore excursion department is closed right now but they said they might be able to help me in the morning.

Teresa - It is hard to see so much sorrow and saddness on what is such a serene and beautiful campus. I remember well the A&M tragedy. We lived in Corpus Christi at the time and I attended Texas A & M University, Corpus Christi. I graduated from there in 2001.

Yesterday was Britt's frist day back at school since the tragedy and she said it was hard to believe. Before this happened not many people talked or knew much about Tech, but yesterday that was all everyone was talking about. In her AP Psych class the teacher was talking about it and asked if anyone had ties to VT, and everyone in the class turned to look at her. Her teacher was surprised to learn she will be going there next year.

Eventually people will move on, but I told Brittany she will now be part of a community that will mark this date in history for years to come.

I was just on hold with DCL for 20 minutes. They were finally able to add 2 more of us to our excursion but the other 2 are still not booked. They said they were sending an email to the shore excursion department and they would try to have it worked out by tomorrow. This is all just very frustrating. I agree with others that they need to revise their system.

pillow - yes you do have some great schools in VA. Britt looked 5 schools in VA this summer and applied to(and got in to) four of them. (Christopher Newport University, Virginia Tech, University of VA, Roanoke College, & James Madison University) Even with what happened on Monday, she is very excited to be attending VT.

We loved Wicked too! DH ordered the tickets in Dec for my birthday. All performances were sold out till April. The earliest we could get them was April 15th. I loved the show, & want to take my DD12 to see the show for Christmas. I guess I should order them now. I am lucky my DH works in the City, & can run over during his lunch hour to buy the tickets.

It has been a real disaster for some people in our area, my DS for one. Her whole neighborhood homes were under water. Many people lost there cars as well. It's just awful. I went today to help out for a few hours. Words just can't describe what I witness. Many families are donating clothing, bleach, food & other needs to these families. I really feel blessed that our home didn't suffer. Most highways are back to normal today.

Wow...I didn't even know the medhead page was down. I got an email from cafepress saying they had website problems which may have interrupted service. I'll email them and find out if they are getting it fixed. I can't believe that the image would be considered copywrighted. The only thing close to disney is the banner itself. Nothing on it states disney so we'll see. Just keep checking.

I read on another thread that it sounds like the first repo cruisers are starting to get their documents, which is about 30 days out. So, I guess we can start looking for ours around May 16th. It's getting closer!

Hi. I have just done probably the craziest thing - I booked the 6-16 med cruise. Had no plans to go, had thought about it once or twice but suddenly I have booked it. The cost of the cruise plus the huge airfare is going to put a damper on our excursion money. I need help trying to decide if we could make it doing it on our own. Getting off the boat and figuring out where to go and how to see just the highlights. I really don't have anything specific in mind except for the Vatican. I would appreciate any help or ideas. We have sailed two previous times with Disney and with some other lines. It is me, DH, DS(15) and DS(2). DS(2) and him being free is one of the main reasons I went ahead and booked. Couldn't hardly beat the price with him being free.
