Sorcerer Mom - I am glad to see you back!!!! We missed you!!

Thanks ! I missed talking to my DIS friends! I have to be careful not to get on the Boards when my kids and DH are around 'cause we're still trying to keep Joey and Christine a secret As it's getting closer, they're of course getting more excited and when they see me on the computer they are like "Are you on the Boards???" and get all nosey on me

Thanks sooooo much for doing that spreadsheet, it's great!

How did we leave it for the meet? I'm happy to do whatever you guys want...I for sure will be "ship-struck" when I board and will be doing as much exploring as possible but we definitly should make time to meet everyone! djdj456 had a good idea about wearing something to identify us...I did shirts for us and ordered them off of zazzle. I'll take a picture and post it if anyone wants to order the same or similar. I haven't shown them to the my famly yet - this cruise will be full of surprises for them

On Christine's recommendation, the plans are for us to eat in Parrot Cay for lunch. Sounds like it would be a bit less hectic than Top-siders and we won't have to navigate our carry-ons thru the buffet line. One of them carry-ons will be kinda heavy because of the "liquids" (gotta keep hydrated if ya know what I mean )

Secretkeeper - Thanks so much for the pixie-dust about my DH. I think we should know for sure in a couple of weeks if he'll be able to make the trip so please keep those good thoughts comin. I've gotta start making more lists....between the cruise and graduation, I've got to stay organized and I know you know what I mean! After this weekend, we're breaking out the suitcases!

I too have to start making lists....ahhhh so many things to do before we leave. I can't believe its only 5 weeks away!!! We went out to dinner with my DIL last night and it was VERY hard not to give away all the secrets about things Im doing for the cruise!!! As for lists though, if anyone has any good ideas on things to pack that aren't standard things, can you let me know

This past Saturday night was my sister's bachelorette party. I found a safe picture to post of me, Darlene and a friend of ours. We had a good time

Anyone else have pictures they can post? On my last cruise we all saw pictures of each other before so we knew who everyone was. Although I have a feeling everyone will know Darlene and Stephanie because they will be the ones running through the parking lot to be first in line

Somone posted a hand-out showing the layout of the check-in area etc. at Port from the 2005 Mex. Riv. cruise. I tried to paste it in our thread but couldn't figure it out so I'm pasting the link (I am challenged when it comes to some of this stuff ) Go to page 3... I thought you may want to take a look. Of course, this may all be changed but kind of neat to see what might be in store for us. I posted back a question if they had received this in the mail beforehand or if they got it after arriving at port...waiting for a reply. I would think they would send stuff like this out beforehand otherwise if you're only getting it when you arrive the day of you really don't have time to study it (unless you're me or Brooklyn, who will have plenty of time, hours and hours, to read it. Of course, we'll need a flashlight 'cause it will still be dark outside )

Sorcerer Mom, DD is in on the secret. Let it slip before Christine PM'd me. Actually it came out during the course of prom errands so I don't think it really reqistered. To be sure I spoke with her the next day. DD was so excited by her own surprise trip last year that she is thrilled to keep the secret going. She and your DD have been talking and are already finding lots of things they have in common. It should be fun for them! I can't believe we are a month and 10 days away!!!!

It was a GREAT night! I am going to try to find the picture of when I met him. My face says it all. I look hysterical!!! I have to find that picture! My college roomate was from Kalamazoo, MI. On a break from she she was flying back and sitting next to him in the airport. They called me. I wanted to die!!! I again was speechless! For a present one time my college roomate gave me one of Jeter's high school pictures. It is so cute because he signed the back with such little boy handwriting, unlike his awesome signature now.

She basically thinks you are the luckiest person ever. Jeter looks like a baby but a handsome one ! Sometimes I forget how young he was when he became a Yankee. Although I have to admit I am looking forward to family Karaoke I truly love to embarrass Darlene's son and I think singing a song to him just might do it

1st Disney Cruise for all of us in my party (4 adults 3 children)
We have GTY rooms and have not been assigned yet.
