Meetnig Day 1
Let me know if everyone wants to try to meet the first day. We are game for that. It would be great to put a name to a face and to be able to recognize each other the rest of the week.

We could either meet up on deck 10 after lunch time or try to all meet for lunch sometime together.

Let me know peoples thoughts/feedback on everything. Also if you are not interested in meeting up that is fine too. I am just a little DIS crazy! :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

I've changed around some plans and now we plan to get to the cruise about 10:30 am so we'd be good with meeting for lunch. We're looking forward to a few more hours on the ship  Should we wear a sticker/name tag/certain color shirt or something so we know who is who for lunch??

OK Sorcerer Mom here it is. Brooklyn it may seem like a long way away but...
Kaitlyn just left for prom:woohoo: &:sad2: They grow up so fast!

Not sure if you ever participated in the fish extender gifts before. Let me know if you want to join our group for the gift exchange.

Sounds great! We're pretty flexible and definitely want to have the Disney experience. Let us know what the majority want and we'll try to meet up! We're planning on leaving the house around 9:30ish and get down there around 10a.
Fish Extender Gifts
I have the spreadsheet completed (with blanks if anyone else wants to join in). I will email it to those who I have personal email addresses for. If I do not have an email address for you then please PM it to me and I will send it over! :thumbsup2 I think I need emails for LVStitch, AirTita, djdj456. Thanks!

If there is a problem with the days assigned or info missing that you would like to add please let me know. We will consider this a "working" worksheet. Once everyone has all of their staterooms numbers and I have made any corrections or additions then I will send a new one out.

PM'd you my email and I got the xcel list. Thanks! The assigned days are fine!

OOOOHHHH, IT IS 12:07 Guess what that means???
 42 Days!!!!

Other things I thought of not to miss.... (Might have been mentioned already but just in case)
Tea with Alice
This is something that you will have to pick up tickets for at Guest Services day 1. If you have smaller kids it is fun. It used to be Tea with Wendy and now it is Alice and the Mad Hatter. Get there early....they pick 2 kids to join Alice and the MH at their table! :thumbsup2 This is free but you do need tickets ahead of time.

Martini, Margarita and Wine Tastings
Again things that you need to pick up tickets for ahead of time. This is something that comes at an additional cost. I have heard really good things about this but we never went last time.

Other Misc Items
Mickey Ice Cream Bars are available from Room Service even though they are not on the menu!!! What better then FREE Mickey Ice Cream Bars...:mickeybar

Uncrustable sandwhiches are also available through room service. Those along with some of their other sandwhiches are the perfect item to order the night before an excursion to take along with you as a FREE snack. :thumbsup2

Ok that is all for now....I think!

Thank you SOOOOO much for the tips. Just picked up my Disney Cruise Passporter so it's time to find a quiet corner of the house and start studying!!!

We've got National Teacher Appreciation Week starting tomorrow so just when I thought I could recuperate from our Spring Carnival Hoedown & Silent Auction from yesterday, here I go again!!! Not to mention the school drama play on Thursday and Mother's Day Brunch from the kids on Friday! :upsidedow

I'm just going to have to squeeze time in for Disney planning and so much for housework:cutie: No one needs clean clothes, right? :laundy:

It's getting closer and closer! I must long onto the DCL website numerous times a day to see if staterooms have been assigned and shore excursions open up, etc.

Guess it won't seem real until I pull out the suitcases and start filling them. I've got a bankers box in the bedroom corner that I've started throwing things in that I want to bring on the cruise and am afraid I'll forget or put away and then forget where I put it when I start packing!

Hope you all have a great week!:goodvibes

LVStitch - Can you PM me your email address so I can send you the gift information.

Thanks!!!

Very pretty...I hope she had fun.

Welcome:cheer2: :cheer2:

She had fun, with just enough of the normal teenage drama to make her feel like a character in one of her favorite episodes of "The Hill's" or "Laguna Beach". She went with a group of 5 other friends, They got the parental photo shoot where all of them complained about being sick of smiling (and she always wanted to be a model :rotfl2: ). They had the limo experience, driven by a family friend of one of the girls in the group (A great paid chaperone :thumbsup2 ) There was an argument between one of the girls in the group and another girl who used to be in the group :confused3 (Glad she graduates in a month :woohoo: ) Then they ended up at Denny's for French fries and a milkshake :cool2: All in all a fun, memorable and safe evening. What parent could ask for anything more!

What a beautiful photo! And yes, the main thing is they had a fun, memorable and SAFE evening! Thank you for sharing!

lvstitch - not sure if you saw the story or not in the earlier posts...

I am a HUGE Yankees fan. I actually met my husband at a Yankee Game and that is why we named our daughter "Brooklyn". Yes I know it is not Bronx like EVERYONE tells me but it was the closest thing to New York that we liked. :-)

You're a yankee fan too?! That will make for some fun conversations with my family who are all HUGE Dodger fans

Yeah, I don't think Bronx sounds as nice at Brooklyn. You should have named her Jeter:rotfl2:

Looks like you are out numbered:lmao: But you have our Torre so I guess you win:sad2:

As Christine knows, my DD referes to Jeter as her future husband :lmao: so since that will most likely N E V E R happen, maybe that's what she'll use that one ;)

I just have one thing to say.....YANKEES RULE![/SIZE] :dance3:

She is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Kaitlyn and Alix were talking on my space yesterday so I did get a peek of the pics! The whole group looked great but Kaitlyn stood out from the other girls for sure! So glad she had a great time and the drama was minimal. It was just Alix and her BF....no group for prom which was quite a difference from the huge homecoming group they were in...best thing about that was it eliminated the drama. Most important thing was that she had fun and got home safe-n-sound. Great memories!

Brooklyn - you've got two little beauties to go through this with! They will be melting hearts before you know it!

Oh DEREK was def on the top of my list if we ever had a boy!!!

I have loved him since 96/97 before he was the hearthrobe of NY. I was lucky enough to meet him on birthday. It was so awesome. A friend of ours was the manager at the All Star Cafe. They just won a game in Baltimore and flew back to NY for a party. They closed the restaurant down and let us stay. It was great hearing "Happy Birthday" from him!!!

I am not a fan of A-Rod though. Just not Yankee material in my eyes.

That would be awesome! My aunt is going to the Astros series in Houston this summer. We have not gotten to see a game in a few years. We used to go see them in Anaheim but getting tickets is so crazy! We did get to go to both World Series Games in San Diego which was a lot of fun. I met my husband earlier that year when Yankees played the Padres for the first time in an exhabition game and then they went to the World Series together! It was a great year!!!

I'm havin a problem with the "multiple quote" button....:rolleyes1 - put this inside Brooklyn's quote by mistake..

OMG, a Happy Birthday from Jeter himself?!!! WOW! I don't even know what Alix would do if he actually spoke directly to her :worship: She was speechless just at the site of him when we went to a Yankee Game last year :sad2:
