June 15 '08 Mexican Riv. Cruise

Oh Boy...I haven't started packing yet. I kinda know what I'm bringing and I have a few things in the corner of our room but the suitcases aren't coming out until Wednesday after the cleaners leave.
Tomorrow is the last day of school for us so that will ease my mind and get me into vacation mode!
Does anybody know what the weather forecast is for the week?
Less than a week! :woohoo: :woohoo:

:faint: Another one not packed:faint:

Sunday -San Pedro - Sunny 76
Tuesday - Cabo - Sunny 95
Wednesday -Mazatlan - T-Storms 85
PV - T-Storms 84 (only goes to Wednesday)

Here's a strange thing: we're leaving tomorrow and we're in very good shape. We've all been planning getting ready here, so there's not THAT much to do. But I still feel all stressed, like I should be getting ready to stay up all night to get ready to go. Maybe it's because after 18 months of planning, it doesn't seem like it's really possible that this could actually be here.

Anybody else having Phantom Stress?? Worrying when there's nothing to worry about??:confused3

It's a relief that I'm not the only one! Thanks! :goodvibes

YES! ME TOO! Hence one of the reason why I am up at 5am to be in work at 6am to be sure I check and double check everything at work, then check and double check everything on my pack list, then finish packing, then do more laundry, then go over drive directions, then estimate arrival to the port so I can get ready to hold Brooklyn's space in line ( had to sneak that one in there), and then, and then, and then....:hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

I've waited sooooo long for this week to be here, done lots of planning and it's going as fast as a freight train but I still feel like I have to rush. At least we know we're not all crazy! ;)

I wish we were already on vacation!! That would mean that someone else packed for us and got my DH out of bed EARLY!! ::yes::

I've unpacked from the quickie trip to Tombstone, AZ, and now I'm ready to pack for the REAL vacation!! I just need to get DS through 8th grade graduation tomorrow. He is at Disneyland today for their "ditch day." He said that he would pick up some good Karma for our trip. :wizard:

I bought the magnet sheets today, so I'll start working on them soon. Each time I start to panic about not being ready, I remember that *it* always gets done! :badpc:

We'll all be in Cabo a week from today! YIPPEEEEEEE!!!

I lost my sunglasses in Tombstone, so I'm off to buy new ones later. :cool2:

(Okay, I only mentioned that because I wanted to use the :cool2: icon.

:cool2: :cool2: :cool2:

I'm finally packing :yay: :yay: and have some questions :confused3 for all of you experts:
1) Are khakis with hawaiian shirts with nice sandals (not flipflops) OK for the non-formal dinners for my DH?
2) Are jeans with pirate themed shirts OK for pirate night for DH?
3) Is sport jacket without a tie OK for Palo dinner for DH?
4) Recommendations for Palo brunch attire both for me and DH - I'm assuming a little more casual than at dinner.

Many thanks!

Ditto...I am going to pack the same exact things for me. (aloha shirt, khakis, brown leather Rainbows, sport coat and pirate theme t's)

Is that type of clothing acceptable?

I havent started to pack yet, but I am thinking about it though. I am starting my regular work week tomarrow :coffee: , then vacation! I can't wait. Just finished FE gifts too.

At least I accomplished something.

1.yes that is totally fine (flipflops also work) I wore them the whole cruise last time (till someone stole them) who would want to steal someone else's flip flops...:confused3

2. jeans are def fine for pirate night

3. yes, no tie needed

4. as long as you are not in a swim suit cover or shorts you will be fine. even long shorts for women work fine for brunch

IMHO - I think what you are packing is fine! If DH didn't have to work and was going, that's exactly what he would be bringing!

Like everyone else said this is all perfect. Actually on Pirate night anything goes. My DH is wearing a long pirate bathing suit to dinner. DH will be wearing a jacket and button down shirt to Palo dinner and a pair of Khakis and polo shirt to Palo brunch. I will be wearing a long casual summer dress to brunch.

OMG I am so excited. Thanks again Brooklyn for getting us the private room. That is something I have never done before.

3 More Day:dancer: :dancer: :dancer:

I am finishing up my magnets and fish extender gifts today and than all that's left is to pack my dresses and makeup (which almost requires a full suitcase by itself :rotfl:). I am ready to go...can we leave now:banana:
