Hi everyone!

I'm sorry that I've been out of touch for so long and let the Roll Call languish and haven't fulfilled my FE promise.

But now we are almost settled after our move to Europe, so I hope to be a better correspondent.

I have updated the Roll Call on Page 1, so check that out and let me know what I have missed.

On the FE - I'm happy to organize or help organize, or whatever is needed. I had tried to put together a google doc without success, but I think Christine may have figured it out and Jonas has offered to help set up a FE group, so maybe we can work together to get that sign-up going.

Happy to be back on the Dis! It's been a while!

PS: Anyone else been following the problems with the Post-Magic drydock???

Looks like we might not be affected. I assume Disney will be one of the "allowed" this summer and even in November the magic is under the 90,000 limit is appears.

The move is set to cut traffic in the lagoon by the famous Piazza San Marco by 45 percent, reversing the trend which has seen cruise ship tourism to Venice increase by 400 percent over the past five years.

The ban will be introduced in phases. From 1st January 2014, there will be a 20 percent reduction in the number of ships bigger than 40,000 tonnes allowed to dock in the lagoon, according to a report in Corriere. Then from November next year only ships smaller than 96,000 tonnes will be able to cruise past Piazza San Marco.

The docking space will also be reduced, meaning no more than five cruise ships above 40,000 tonnes can descend on Venice at one time.

The decision was taken by Prime Minister Enrico Letta on Tuesday, with Environment Minister Andrea Orlando, Infrastructure Minister Maurizio Lupi and Massimo Bray, Italy’s culture minister. The politicians also worked with the Venice port authority and the city council to reach the agreement, Corriere said.

Announcing the news on Twitter (below), Letta said “Today we have taken the decision to block the huge boats to Venice. We are sure that everyone will do their part to make sure it works”.

Hi Venice sailors. I am actually "1stDisneyCruiseForUs" but I cannot get my username and password to work anymore for some reason. Anyway, I wanted to wish you all a wonderful cruise, but let you know that we won't be joining you afterall. Hopefully another year! This year we're going to stick with an Eastern Caribbean due to a very complicated work/school/sports schedule this year. So unfortunately I'm going to have to ask you remove us from the roll call

Switched from July cruise to the June sailing and we are very excited! Family of 5 Nic, Mark, Alex (16), Kate (8) and Papa. Interested in FEs for sure. This is our 3rd DCL Med Cruise and first time to Venice.

I have loads of advice on our travels to Barcelona, Pisa and Rome...let me know if you would like 2010 Navigators

Looking forward to any advice We are flying into Barcelona the day before, won't have much time to tour, but if you have any good advice for half a day. We are staying at the Hilton.

We don't have plans in Pisa right now, so I'd be interested in that as well. Trying to decide if we need to see the tower or skip it and do something more interesting.

My husband and I are looking at using a private tour company while in Rome. The cost for the similar tour through Disney is $345 per person. Depending on how many people go, it would be approximately $175 or less per person. A local, english speaking driver would pick us up in a private car at the port at 8am and have us back to port by 5pm. The tour would include places like Trevi fountain, the Pantheon, the Vatican, the Spanish Steps, and the Colosseum. Would anyone be interested in joining us?

We have decided not to take this cruise afterall. My brother-in-law is getting married this summer so we had to choose between traveling for his wedding or the cruise. Maybe next year.

Hi All,
Just got to wondering......anyone have any experience with Trip Insurance....sure hope we wouldn't need it, but better to be safe than sorry...right? There are so many companies, I don't know where to start.
Any thoughts or ideas?

I've been on 8 cruises (this will be my first Disney cruise, my kids 3rd) and I have never gotten trip insurance. And I'm not getting it this time either.
