June 13 2010 5 Night Bahamas - Double Dip

Leaving for the airport in half an hour. Can't believe today is finally here.
My FE arrived yesterday at 3:30 by mail and my silver flip flops by UPS at 5:30. I am a planner by nature and these last minute arrivals have driven me a little crazy. I feel like Cinderella. My shoes have arrived and now I can go to the party.

wow everyone is leavng so early, I am jealous! I am about halfway packed...husband hasn't even opened his suitcase! He does this to me every time!

Hoping to have everything done tomorrow because we head to my parents (kathy04) house friday!

We are sitting in our hotel room-taking a break from our vacation!
I've just gotten on the computer and realized what time it is... (big sigh)-time for the new cruise to set sail...

Right now, we are waiting in traffic for the tunnel in Alabama on our way back home to Texas. We had SO much fun on the cruise we booked another for June 2011 on the Dream. My hubby and I wanted the 7-day cruise, but our kiddos *loved* our dining server so much and they wanted to be on the same ship he was going to be on.

We didn't get to spend any time with any of you except our *hello* gathering. The 5-days is just not long enough. We enjoyed the FE. Thank you all for everything!

Had a WONDERful time on the cruise! Thank you all for the WONDERful FE gifts..........It was so nice coming back to the stateroom and finding a gift.

hey all! We just got back today. Went to the Wilderness Lodge for 2 nights then drove to my parents and stayed at their house last night and made the final leg of the trip home this morning. I had a great time on the cruise and meeting everyone! We rebooked for the may 29th double dip on the dream, may change the date, may not. Still looking into it!

I am hoping to start a trip report at some point this week so be on the lookout! hope to cruise with you all again! also loved all the FE gifts!

Hi, Everyone!

We just returned today from the second leg of the double dip. We had an incredible time meeting everyone, and we truly appreciated the gifts that came each day!

We had already booked the Wonder for Alaska next June (06/14/11)...but we decided to book another B2B on the Dream Labor Day week of 2011. Matthew won't be starting classes at the University of Cincinnati until later that month, so we're taking advantage of the cheaper prices!

I'll fill you in on more later...but they did extra touches for us on the second trip (i.e. treats in our room each day, and a Chef de Cuisine overseeing our meals each evening).

Thanks to everyone for making the FE such a fun part of our cruise!!!

I will do better next time, i have learned a few things....It was nice meeting all of you. We rebooked with our daughter and her husband in May on the Dream. We are just back from 10 days at the world and the cruise. Thanks to everyone who did the FE. The boys loved everything but whoever sent the popper ball things an extra thank you to you! Great to meet you all and thanks again!

We're home but are still recuperating from 8 days at WDW and the horrible heat and humidity. I never thought I would be so happy with So Cal's "June Gloom" coastal fog.

Pesto, are you talking about the balls that look like they are cut in half and you press them down and wait for them to pop into the air? If so, that was us. Our kids love those things!

Thanks to everyone for the great gifts. Our kids loved receiving the signed pillow cases on the last night. They had fun with all of the magnets and the message board. My husband loved the Cincinatti stuff and I loved the luggage tags and keychains! Thanks again!

P.S. We all thought the Double Dip ice cream cones was a very clever idea!
