Kids club.

You can either feed them yourself through room service or one of the places on deck 9 or they can eat with the kids club. With the club there are set times for them to eat so it just takes a little more planning to do it that way.

We're leaving for Disney this Sunday. The clothing is all set out in the spare room and we're doing final shopping this week to make sure we have everything we need. Then we have our DD's dance recital all day Saturday, off to bed early, and then we're on the road at 2am Sunday morning.

I am STILL working on the FE gifts! I have two sets of suitcases out. One is for Disney and one is for the cruise. Now...we are just trying to get them packed and ready. We are leaving for Disney Tuesday! Can't wait!!!!

Just read about the embarkation dinning and how hot it was. My tip is to eat in Parrots Cay. They have a buffet and ALL INDOOR Seating! They might say that it is full... then just say that you will wait for a table. We have never waited for more then 5 minutes tops! Also.. Have a wake up call scheduled for a time that the kids can answer the phone. Mickey Mouse does the wake up call. Room service is great for a uncrustable or Mickey Mouse Bar(Not on the menu, but they can bring it ANYTIME) Good Luck! Happy Sailing!

We are leaving on Tuesday as well. I am packing my checked luggage for the cruise and my carry on for WDW. I hope this works. I can't check an extra bag because we are using Magical Express and they did not send us enough yellow tags. I am going to pack an extra travel tote which was a purchase with purchase at Disney World last summer, in the checked bag (unless that pushes me over the weight limit) for bringing things home.

We will be staying at POR. I'm very excited that we will be doing the Fireworks Dessert Party one night.

My Disney Birkis came yesterday - so cute. Jen is coming tomorrow for our before the cruise girls day. Mani's and Pedis. and last minute trip errands.

I am sooooooooo ready for this trip.

For those leaving on Tuesday, safe travels. We will be leaving on Saturday the 12th, spending one day in WDW (our "Give a Day, Get a Day" tickets) and staying at POR. Cheryl & Jen, if you're taking the Disney bus to PC, we'll probably be riding with you.

(Remind where we are meeting again. ) Do you carry your luggage on board? Do they bring it on for you? We haven't ever cruised before so we have no clue! I need some of the FE gifts for our 3:00 meeting. Comments are greatly appreciated.

If you're doing Disney Cruise Line transportation, they'll provide you a time to have your luggage ready for pickup. You should also be provided with a luggage tag by DCL, which will have your stateroom identified for delivery. Keep a carryon with essentials and a change of clothes, as the luggage sometimes doesn't arrive until 6PM in your stateroom...and you may need a change of clothing for either an early dinner seating or a 6:15 p.m. show in the Walt Disney Theatre.

As for the DisMeet, we will meet on Deck 3, Promenade Lounge, at 3PM. A reminder for all, if you're changing/upgrading staterooms at Port Canaveral, it will be important to either please meet up with us at 3PM, or get word to the participants in their FE of your new stateroom.

I stayed at Carribean beach and used Disney Transport for my first Disney Cruise in Dec 2008. I was very nervous about my luggage but it arrived on the ship just fine.

Jen and I put the finishing touches on our FE gifts last night. I am still waiting for my actual FE to arrive. I ordered it from gradysmommy on ebay. I really hope it gets here on time, or we may have a disney store reusuable bag hanging from our fish

Jen and I always take the "Mickey Flight" out of Austin. Jet Blue that goes Long Beach CA. - Austin TX - Orlando Fla and then reverses. Or as we like to think of it DisneyLand - Pick US Up - WDW or the reverse depending on whether we are doing to DLR or WDW.

Do we take the cruise line transportation from the resort? We did not have a voucher for that in our reservation book. We did have luggage tags. If we took the cruise line transportation, do they bring you back to your resort to pick up your car? Or would it be better to drive to the port and park ourselves?

Oh sorry. You have to purchase the transfer from the resort to the cruise line. I always fly so I never have a car. I always use the Disney Transportation. I want to say it is about $70 a person from the hotel to the port, but I am not absolutely sure.

If you have your car, it would be better to drive to the port. I don't know how luggage is handled that way, because I always use Disney trasport. Sorry for any confusion.

We are leaving EARLY Tuesday morning and I am not near ready! I just checked in online for our trip to Disney World. I have most of our cruise luggage packed, but have a few things left to add. I still have to pack for Disney.

We need to clean the house, swimming pool, backyard, etc. before we leave (so it will be nice and tidy for the pet sitter.)

TOO MUCH TO DOO AND NOT ENOUGH TIME!!!! I am SO ready for this vacation!

Well, I am mostly packed. It is amazing that the youngest in our family has his stuff all packed and ready to go. He feels the need to tell everyone this often. Please look for a name tag sticker in/on your fish extender if we get an upgrade cabin change. I will try and make the meet at 3 to hand them out also. I am up early to cut arm and leg holes in trash bags for Kali River rapids. I feel like I am packing for a moon launch!

I really miss the days of two pieces of checked luggage. I have been packing, unpacking, repacking , repeating the process for days. I am declaring myself finished.
Still waiting for my FE to arrive. I can track it and it should be her at 3:00 pm today. I ordered it May 10 so this is cutting it way too close for comfort for me.
