We have decided to just stay on the ship in Nassau! I wanted to do a 7 day cruise and got out voted, so I know this one is not going to be long enough for me! I will just have to enjoy my 1 ship day. LOL

I am very ready for our vacation. Life in general has been stressful lately and work is almost unbearable, I am really looking forward to a short break from reality.

I had an anxiety dream last night that we were boarding the ship and all kinds of things were going wrong. It was smelly, dirty and we had to walk through the lower deck with all of our luggage in tow. That is when I realized I had forgotten to pack my suitcase and I had no clothing or personal items! LOL

I am sure it is going to be wonderful and now I just have to wait a few more weeks! =)

You'll have a marvelous time! It's always nice to get away from "reality" for a few days....and, Disney is the best and you shouldn't have any problems....just FUN!!

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS where FE began years ago.

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one seems to be coming forward to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS.

Thanks Maddie! What a wonderful surprise from your dad! We taken all of our grandchildren on a Disney cruise when then turned 5 and, trust me, we loved it as much as they did.

The prizes can be anything fun - maybe something you would like. Here is our current list of FE friends with this information: Name on DisBoard; Cabin number; names of adults in cabin; names of girls with age & boys with age in each cabin; if there are any allergies or if they are celebrating something. As you see the dad, Rocky, in cabin 9564 is celebrating a birthday and the girls in cabin 7029 are celebrating their graduation from high school.
