Hi everyone--our FE signup list is now closed. We have 16 families participating and by my count 31 adults and 36 kids (I counted teenagers as kids). Should be fun!

Some families are still waiting on cabin assignments. In the next few weeks I will set up a Google Document with everyone's info on it as it becomes available, but I expect cabin numbers to change up until shortly before our cruise. So for now, please use the above headcounts for planning your FE gifts.

I've never organized an FE Exchange list before (this is my first Disney Cruise)...but from what I've read usually the rules are pretty relaxed. Feel free to leave one FE gift per family, or one FE gift per person, or separate gifts for the adults vs. the kids, or get as personal or general as you wish. It's up to you! It's nothing to stress over, this is just fun for everyone! I would suggest though that we try to deliver our FE gifts by Wednesday of our cruise so that people don't have to worry about last-minute packing on Thursday night.

Below is a list of the families I am showing as signed up in our group and the # of adults and kids in each family. I will also send a PM to everyone in this list to make sure they are still participating. Please let me know if I have any of your information incorrect. Thanks!

Hi Baddog -
You can do that anyway you choose - I did all my gifts on one night my last 5 night cruise - but many others delivered items more than once. So go with what works for you.

I also did put my disname on a tag for my first cruise - my last cruise I completely forgot!! But seemed that most people did have to and from tags on the gifts. So again - go with what works for you!!

We've done this just once before. It took us four Disney Cruises to discover FE. We plan to spread things out and make deliveries throughout the cruise. The youngins enjoy the giving as much as the getting so we like to do that often throughout the cruise.

Can't wait for the trip! Just got done booking all of our excursions - I am bummed that the Dolphin Encounter was booked already - my little one loved that last year! That is what I get for booking the trip so late!

But... I am having fun tonight getting organized for the FE!

Our final list is in Post #28 on page 2. I hope to get the info into a more organized spreadsheet this week. I suspect that cabin numbers will be updated as we get closer to our cruise date.

I haven't done this before, but my understanding is that you get something for at least every family on the list (can be one gift per family, or you can do one gift per person) and deliver it whenever it's convenient for you. I'd suggest we do it by Day 4 so that people can start packing up their stuff on Day 5.

It doesn't have to be big or take a long time to make!

So we did this once before and the little one really enjoyed the passing out as much as coming back to the room and finding gifts, so we made deliveries each night to each room. Nothing big or fancy, just a little something for each person each night.

It's totally up to each family how they want to do it. Some people will do it just once, some will do it multiple times, some will be family gifts some will be individual gifts. Its just your personal preference. Last time we even had a family that hand made some items for everyone that were personalized with names and characters. That was really neat.

Hi everyone! I agreed to take over the FE list after skoch left; however, I am technically challenged and can't figure out how to edit his original post! So I guess I'm starting this updated master list post. We've had a few people join us--welcome! We currently have 11 families in our FE group.

MissDaisy, Do you think you can copy what you have in post #28 and paste it in post #2? I just think people might see that list since it's so high on the thread and go off that I'd hate for people to be left off.

Also, Can you update my DH's name to Scott. It's also his 40th birthday on June 9th so this is his birthday cruise from me. DD will also be turning 3 at the beginning of July so we are sort of celebrating that as well. For DS, can you update his interest to Star Wars, Cars 2 and Mickey.

Hi! I wish I could update post #2...but someone who dropped out of our cruise wrote that post and I cannot edit it. I did change the spreadsheet with your edits.

I've heard that room assignments are being given out about 2 weeks before the sail date on a Monday...so I'm guessing May 28. At that time, I will suggest that everyone go in and check their reservation to see if they got a room assignment or maybe even an upgrade! (wishful thinking, right?)

As far as getting a port upgrade...go for it! I can keep a master list on my door and update it if anyone changes.

What are people doing for the actual Fish Extenders?

I have to admit, I don't want to pay $50 plus to buy one off e-bay that I may never use again....

But at the same time- I have ZERO sewing skills (nor do I own a sewing machine).

Do people 'create' other types of FE? Like out of bags or something. (I know, I'm grasping at straws here).
