Aha! So you ARE lurking there! I knew my instinct was right to not post any pictures yet! I am out of control. My family is starving to death and wearing dirty clothes because I can't stop working on my FE gifts. I keep finding new ideas and then I'm like - sure, add that to the list! Someone needs to stop me.

BUT it is SO FUN! I haven't crafted much recently due to always having more "important" things to do (you know, like feed the kids...). I am SO enjoying getting back to it. Mine aren't as spectacular as the things on that thread, but I am pretty happy with them!

And I still need to figure out how to sew the actual FE! And door magnets.... oh my. This is how I get about shirts too when we are going to WDW. Good thing I have an understanding husband!

OK promised myself I would get off at 11 so I can get some cleaning done... maybe then I can craft while I watch the Gators tonight!

Oh and our info on #2 is good.

Whatever your FE gift turns out to be, it will be appreciated by all ... its the thought that counts.

Don't worry about starving your family ... they can catch up on their eating onboard with all you can eat dining and room service. Also, they have laundry rooms on some of the cabin decks to wash clothes.

I would like to prepare spreadsheet for distribution by April 3rd. It will accessible after that time on Google Docs (I will post link on this board). PM or email me with your email address if you want me to send copy to you independently.

Finally, let me know what message to send to others if they request to join our FE list after April 2nd.

I still have not recieved a stateroom assignment, we booked a GTY and from everything I have read it might be May before we know.
Will be away for 10 days or so. Racing down to Cabo then getting started on all my FE gifts

Hmmmm.... I think if someone wants to join late we could maybe let them, but tell them some stuff might not be possible, depending on if people already ordered or whatever.... But I guess there would still need to be some cutoff date, so I'm not sure. Sorry, I have never done this before!

No problem. Just let me know via this board or a PM what your cabin number is when you know it. At that time, I'll update post #2 and the Google Docs spreadsheet. In addition, I'll PM the other players to let them know of the update.

I've updated post #2 to show GTY. Hope you get a free category upgrade (if thats what you want).

Hi. I am not sure about our cabin number yet. I will check back with the cruise line and see when we will be assigned a cabin. I know that we are guaranteed a certain category but not sure how that process works. )

Don't worry - DCL will get you a cabin ... hopefully it will be a category upgrade. (Last year I was upgraded to a verandah from an oceanview on my Wonder Alaska cruise).

Let me know when you find out and I will update the rest of the FE players.

My only concern about allowing late FE entries is for people who are doing personal items or have to order product. My gift is both personalized and I have to order supplies so I would feel so bad to not be able to give a gift to someone!

By the way, will others be submitting first names to the list? I kinda need those!

I agree. I'm ordering something personalized and plan to order when our group closes so that I have a few weeks to correct a problem should one occur. It would be terrible to run out if suddenly we got several families listed on the same day or if a very large family (maybe a reunion) joined with 10-20 members. rewhitingjr I think you had it right all along by setting a deadline.


Spiffie I will send you a PM with my kids Names since we do not post them on open forums. The thought of all these surprises both giving and getting is making me excited! I'm not very crafty but put alot of thought into my gift cant wait to pass them out.

We are planning personal gifts also. Our first names are posted on post #2 on page 1 but I will email you our names.

I agree that our group is sized just right.

Effective 12:01 AM on April 3rd our FE group will be closed to new players. New players after that time will need to establish and manage a new FE group. It will be at the option of each of our players if they want to participate in the second FE group.

I will do my best to post our FE spreadsheet on Google Docs no later than Sunday, April 8th.
