When will we find out our room#.

The lady i spoke with at DVC, when booking, said it was at least on deck 5, 6 or 7.

What are some of the excusrions you guys have chosen to do?

I have not even been over to check them out yet on the DCL website , i guess i will do that now!!!!

my DH and DS are doing a zip line tour and I am going to get a manacure when they are on that.

Then we are all doing a Pirate Ship excursion that sound like fun.

We also have palo booked.

I think when you get your paper work with the luggage tags you will know. Do let us know.

BUT we did at least get a Palo Brunch and i guess a brunch at Palo is better than no Palo at all!!!!!!!!

When are you doing Palo? We are doing a brunch and a dinner. We are doing it on sea day. We did not do on are first cruise. Now that I have gone there I don't want to miss.

We do not have a Palo Brunch we have a PALO High TEA..

Which is why i wasnt jumping up and down for joy but will take what i can get.

We go the first Sea Day at 3pm.

Has anyone started packing yet???????

I am starting a list ( okay it is really a spread sheet, becausei have issues) of clothes cuz we dont want to OVER PACK!

And i am very bad at over packing as we have a 5 day stay besides the cruise i need to reuse clothes as much as possible!

Also had my DD try on her Formal from last year, and it is too small so i have to purcahse her a formal.

Actually, I have started throwing a few things in a "pile" on the dresser so that I can sort thru later and put in the suitcase. The one thing I dont' want to forget is the over the door shoe holder... that thing is a life saver. Who ever thought that up deserves a prize.

Lynn, have you been to California before? If not, I want to advise you and your family to bring a light jacket or sweatshirt as our evenings tend to get pretty cool after the sun goes down. OR you can forget to bring it and buy a new one at the park.

As, no, myself and the kids have never been to Cali, My Dh went on business once. And he can go barfoot in the snow. So he is no help with knowing when it is cold out!

Although Me and DD tend to carry a jacket everywhere we go........BUT only since we have lived in Florida.......HOW FUNNY. It is ALWYS sooo cold indoors(airconditioning) compared to outside.

I will be sure to pack a sweat shirt for maybe everyone but me HA, so i can buy a new one!!!!!!!

I have to ask what did you use the over the door holder for? I took one on the last cruise and did not even use. I had enought room on the shelfs in the corned of the bathroom.

As far as the suitcase and packing. When we came back from Florida I left the clean clothes in them. I am not going to need what I took before we leave bye me. I have started to buys some new things to. I always have to have some kind of new clothes. I over pack allot. But now that most air lines are charging for extra luggage I am not sure if I will do that.

OMGoodness, I put EVERYthing in the over the door shoe holder.... anything that would normally go on the counter or on the dresser. At night, we put our watches, jewelry, lanyards with our KTTW cards, the sunscreen, chap stick, lotions, my make-up, deodorant, pens, tylenol and any medicatons, bandaids... anything and everything that would have junked up the counter tops. My DH LOVED it cause it was easy to find everything, and easy to see because ours was the one with clear pockets. I LOVE using it.

Ok! You put it to real good use. I hung mine up but on the door it kept moving. Maybe I did something worn. I got so mad i put it in the garbage before we left. Maybe I should try again. That is if I could find one.

Wow! I am really behind on the posts!

I need to start thinking about what we are going to wear, etc. Since we do this every year I sort of have my cruise standards waiting, but DD probably has grown out of some of it and some of mine if just getting plain OLD! LOL!

I am trying to get ready for the NYC trip next weekend. 1st that one needs to get out of the way, then I will start on this one.

SOMEONE TELL ME ABOUT THE PIRATE EXCURSION!!! I think I might want to do it!

DS and I took the Pirate Excursion in Puerto Vallarta...it was awesome! The crew is wonderful, make it a real adventure and get the stow aways involved in the action. Once you anchor, you take tenders to shore where you can snorkle (although it was cold and there were lots of jelly fish last time), canoe, take banana rides, play volleyball or do nothing! We are going again this year and can't wait..hope you decide to go!

Clear Shoe Holder.......... i used my for everything too!
Also add in there, hair barretts, hair ribbons, bobby pins, rubber bands, panty hose..........it is good for all that stuff!!!! MINE WAS CLEAR ALSO!!!! LOVED IT!

I had my DD try on her Formal Gown and it was too small so we are getting ready to go to the mall, we went to Good will last night and nothing so hopefully i find A SALE at the mall!

I also have to purcashe myself a nice outfit for my OLDESt SONS College graduation so i may ise it for semi formal ??? depending on what it is.

ROXIE, when did you go that it was cold..........Gosh i sure hope it isnt cold on our cruise, i didnt do the Christmas Cruise just for that reason!

That is to funny. Mine is graduating from MSOE
with degrees in Architechual Engibeering wit a Specialization in Building Electrical Power Systems.

Both of them in Engineering. He states his job for his degree on June 23rd for a company In illinois. Does you son have a job? Good Luck to him in his career.

I have not had any form of a dress on in at least 10 years. I get to wear jeans to work and only if we have an open house do I have to were dress pants.

No my son does not have a job yet.
Him and his girl friend are looking and whoever gets one first that is where they will live i am trying tot alk him in to coming to South Florida but i dont think i have talked him into it yet.
