can you all tell me as a first time cruiser, what threads should i be looking at to prepare, yes i am trying to cheat now :)
also, what is the last day of the cruise like, do we get to eat in the morning? i heard we are off by 9 am is that true? do they heard us out like cattle?
have a great weekend!!!

Mendoza5:

Yes, you get to eat before you get off the Magic.:) You go to were ever you ate the night before. If you had the eary eatig you go first if you had the late you go to the second one. They will give you a piece of paper on the last night at dinner telling you. They give you a limited menu to choose from. Once done you can rome the ship for a while if you want. But you do have to take your lugger with you (if I remember correct). I also did not feel like it was like a heard of animals getting off either. But then we were not in a hrry we had a later flight. Hope this helps. I am sure other people will chim in to. One thing for sure it is a sad day when you have to get off.

You turned in your info for passports last week, and you already got them back? Wow, that is very fast. And you live in CA, so do we. My DH and I have them, but we needed them for our boys. We did theirs 2 weeks ago, and last time it took us 4 months to get ours. Did you rush them or anything?

I am sitting in my room at SSR at WDW as I send this.

Today is are first baseball game and it is only going to be 57 out side.
But I guess that is better then being home, were we have more snow.

Hiya fellow 6/1 cruisers! Are you flying in the night before...if so, where are you staying?

sorry i have been gone a few days, we did not expidite our passports, we just went to the court in our town, not the post office. it was easier to get in there at the courthouse. did you all see the post with all the food pictures? then one woman has a whole web site of just photos. it's awesome!!!

:welcome: roxiw9234 :welcome: Good to have you aboard!...

Refer back to the first post and you will see a list of the other DIS cruisers and everything we have planned.
Do you have little ones with you? Let us know if you would like to join in so we can put you down for the fun.

I'm new to the DISboard:cool1:

My 17-year old son Austin (18 on 6/15) and I will be on the 6/1 cruise and used DVC points as well. How do I get on the "docket" for all of the fun?????

Wow! Sorry once again to be MIA! We bought a new computer and switched somethings around so it took me a while to get back up and running. In the middle of all of this, I just found out I am PREGNANT!!! :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: It's super early and I have a tendancy to miscarry so we are moving along with our cruise plans, but... if we are still pregnant on March 18th, (final chance to get a full refund) then we are going to cancel. With my history of miscarriages, we just don't want to be out of the country, even though I wouldnt be far enough along for Disney to deny me boarding. So we will see!!!

I paid for everything in full this weekend (nothing like waiting until the last minute eh?) We do want to book Palo and we don't really care when. We love it there, plus, being our 4th cruise, we've done these theme nights plenty of times that we don't care what we miss. We actually like the formal night because DD LOVES lobster, so we will probably try one of the casual nights for Palo. It's less difficult to get in then anyway! :goodvibes

We are going to do a beach day in Cabo and then DH is planning to golf in Mazatlan while DD and I either stay on the ship or just head out on our own. DD wants to swim with the Dolphins really badly, so we will pick up one of those kids excursions in PV. We are beach people way more than sight seeing people! My OBG nurse just did this exact cruise through another cruise line and gave me some GREAT advice on tours, although none of them are offered by Disney, just Royal Carribean. I might check them out anyway.

OH btw our cruise details are:

ME (35), DH (30), DD (8) 4th cruise, SR6592
