June 1, 2008 7-Night Mexican Riviera Cruise All Aboard is now back on Land

Hello Everyone!

Got home yesterday from Milwaukee,WI. My son starts his Senior year tomorrow. The weather there was great. Did alllot of walking. they have a reiver walk. Today I am catching up on the wash and just chilling.

My DH couldn't stand not sleeping in our bed another night.. so today he went to Home Depot and bought a large window unit for our downstairs and a small bedroom unit for my DM's bedroom upstairs. Since we are still sleeping in the downstairs guest bedroom at least until my leg brace comes off. He installed both units, in less than 3 hours. He had to remove a window, place plexiglass and even add a 220 line!

The house is ALOT cooler tonight... I can at least stand to be IN the house. Tomorrow will be the real test as all the daycare kids come back tomorrow, and with so many little bodies in the house, it might become unbearable. At least the forecast for tomorrow is supposed be 85*... that is a whole 16* cooler than today. Cross your fingers for me.

Smart DH!! Sounds like something my DH would do. Good luck in the house with the kdis today. Hope it stayes some what cool. And as you said at least it is going to be a little cooler.

Yes Thank GOD, the temp tonight is 66* and tomorrow our high will be 72*...
Now that's more like our norm...
Low tomorrow night is projected to be 62* beautiful degrees.

My air-conditioner repair service comes tomorrow...
I'll let you know how that goe$

The air-conditioner guy didn't show up so I called to see what was the deal...
he said I was not scheduled for today... its for NEXT Thursday...
What the *#@!#?!....
So now I'm looking at next week...
I'm just happy that our weather is cooled back to normal and I hope it stays that way.

Today is our 38th anniversary... I need a of the day.

Thanks for the Happy Anniversary wishes, it was very nice and quiet.
By the end of the day, I'm too tired to do much of anything, I really do too much walking around and I exhaust myself, so by 6pm all I want to do is relax.
My DH was trying to take me out to dinner and a movie, but I REALLY only wanted to sit on the couch and watch tv... so we picked up some Chinese take out and did just that.. sat and watched our Net Flicks of Nip Tuck... do you watch that show... wow is it good an those doctors are HOT if you know what I mean. "Each one is more beautiful than the other".

Our weather is back to PERFECT again...just another day in paradise... Thank GOD.

Glad you had a good day. I bet you are tired by the end of the day with the brace. No I doj't watch Nip Tuck! I have seen it and you are right about the doctors. I do watch all the CIS's and Ncis. I figure that is enough.

1. Do you remember when they listed the excursions for the ports? This way you could make up your wish list.

2. I know in Florida you can bring liquor on board. Can you do this in CA? Judging from what you said in a post in the beginning on how strict they are I would say no.

Hi Flo....... I just went to "Itineraries" at the top of our page and it lists most of the activites at the ports of call. I'm not sure when we get to sign up for them....I'm soooo anxious to get my pirate on!

1. I don't remember the date or time frame for the excursions, but I"m sure they haven't changed so you could just go by what is already there.
2. YES on the liquor... my SIL carried on a case of beer, tipped the room service girl $20 and told her to NEVER let his bucket be empty of ice.
