Jumping, Dancing & Jamming Our Way Through Walt Disney World! I'm With the Band Now!

Once Mama had completed her purchase, we walked over to see the most famous bears in the West....the Country Bears and, lo and behold, they were having a hoe down that started in just a few minutes. We invited ourselves to the party and were soon doing a little toe tapping, hand clapping and singing Blood on the Saddle along with Big Al and his pals:

Woooo Eeeee! We had one heck of a fun time with the bears and it was time to move back out into the hot Florida sunshine. I had to go potty as did the other girls so we left the boys and went to the nearest restroom. We passed these pretty flowers along the way:

When we came back out, we saw John and Hunter partaking in a friendly game of checkers outside of the Frontierland Shootin' Gallery:

As I said before, we were out in the hot sun and we were all ready to take a break. We started walking toward the front of the park but zipped into the candy store to see if there was anything we just had to have. Lucky for us, they were handing out samples of caramel apples conveniently cut into pretty wedges:

On our way out, we also stopped to admire the blown glass castle that had a whopping price tag:

And an expensive glass carriage:

Since we are on the subject of expensive glass castles, how 'bout this one:

With both glass castles and one carriage being bought and shipping arrangements made (yeah right), we made our way through the turnstiles and walked over to the bus stops.

Along the way, we passed the ferry boats:

And that, my friends, is where the other story should have picked up....we went to the resort, swam a while, rested in the hammock, rode back to the Magic Kingdom, ate our dinner with Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore and went outside to stake out a spot to watch Wishes!

**Up next: Fireworks! Parades! and Extra Magic Evening Hours!

Those glass castles are amazing! :lovestruc

No Tiki Room...aww... I would have been so disappointed. NOT! LOL!

Love, love, love the Jungle Cruise! :goodvibes

Cute picture of you and John. I like your shirt. Cute picture of the kids. I feel like I can almost tell how hot it was that day. Yuck. Starting to get a little nervous about June! It will be three years since I ventured into the June weather and my memories of the heat are not good ones.

Nice picture from the train station. Good job Hunter.

I love the little Pirate Mickey plush! How cute! :goodvibes

I can never convince my travel companions to pay the Country Bears a visit, so it's unfortunately been many years since I've seen Big Al and the gang! I think that show is great though!

What glass figurine did Mama buy?

I want to do some more of the pressed money this trip, I think it's a nice little buy!

Those glass figurines are very cute, and obviously those glass castles look amazing!

I love the Tiki Room for some reason…

Good idea about the change being in those tubes! How much does it cost to do the pressed pennies? That may be something fun for Cortlyn to do this year!

And I DO like that bag!! :)

I highly dislike the Tiki room and the Country Bear Jamboree....I felt I was wasting my time. We will definitely skip both of those this year.

I am excited that part of the new Fantasyland will be open when we go this year!!

Mama bought a little pig and a little rabbit on this trip but I can't remember which one she bought in Mexica/Epcot and which one she bought at the MK.

Those glass figurines are very cute, and obviously those glass castles look amazing!

Aren't they all so cute! I would love to have the money to buy one of the castles but then I'd have to build a fort around it to keep someone from breaking it. :rotfl2:

I have alwys like the Tiki Room too and was a little bummed that it was closed.

Most of the pressed penny machines were required two quarters and a penny. I think I remember a few being 75 cents and $1 but there weren't many of those.

I hate that you don't enjoy those two classics. We go to the both each time and were a little bummed that the Tiki Room was closed.

Hi Lisa!:goodvibes

I finally made it back over here and I'm all caught up!:thumbsup2

I'm going to try to remember everything I want to comment on....

Love all your pictures in Snow White's Scary Adventure! I'm really sad that we never got to ride it.:sad2: At least we have the mine coaster to look forward to!

Thanks for posting the pictures of the new Winnie the Pooh and Haunted Mansion queues! Can't wait to see them in person!!:)

Yay for trying a Dole Whip!! That's on the very top of my must-do list.

We love Crystal Palace! I think they have such a great variety of food and how can you resist Pooh and friends!:goodvibes

Aren't the castles beautiful?! I loved them both.

We actually like the Tiki Room but I can see how you, Ms. I Don't Like Birds, would be happy that it was closed. :rotfl:

It was very hot and humid that day. My hair starts doing all sorts of waves and swirls and doesn't cooperate at all. :sad2:

I am sure if you work in some sit-down/inside attractions into your June schedule and a few rests here and there, you'll be fine.

I love the little Pirate Mickey plush! How cute! :goodvibes

I wish the pictures hadn't turned out so blurry because I had more of the character plushes dressed as pirates.

One day you're gonna have to just drag your companions into Country Bears with you. It's an oldy but goody in our book.

I was a bit behind...

Love your red Mickey shirt! :cutie:

I enjoyed seeing the HM queue. When we were there last time they had it closed off. It wasn't crowded, so it wasn't needed, but I still wanted to see it. It looks really cool!

Love the pictures from atop the train station! Such a beautiful view up there! :wizard:

How many of those glass castles do you think they have sold? ;) I just can't imagine having that much money, but I'm sure someone, somewhere does!

Love free samples at the Confect. We got one of cotton candy and it was such a nice little surprise! That caramel apple looks pretty darn good! :thumbsup2

Cute bag you made too! You should make those for your FE gifts on the cruise. I'd sure love to get one if I was in your group!

Chris likes collecting the pressed pennies also. It realy is hard for boys that age to find something. Madison nor Chris really got into the vinylmation thing and Chris really doesn't like anything that will just collect dust!

I have yet to see the Tiki Birds! I want to though! I enjoyed the Country Bears!!

More time to spend in Fantasyland then haha

I just love your pictures of random places and things at WDW! It helps chase away the Disney blues...:goodvibes

We discovered the fun of the pressed pennies on this trip. I do believe I will use your M&M container idea for our next trip. DH was looking at the little collector books for them, but we did not purchase any this time. Does Hunter have one of the books he collects them in? How big is his collection now? It really is a great and inexpensive idea for families who go on a regular basis. :thumbsup2

When i read about you carrying coins in the M&M tibes it reminde me of what happened a couple of years ago....my husbadn did that and he got stopped at the airport and taken aside.....I guess they thought it was an M&M bomb!

I just had to reply to tell you how much I have enjoyed reading your TR! I am more of a reader....not a poster. I post some on another Dinsey fan site but not much on the Dis....(that will change).... Anyhoo....just wanted to let you know that I read this TR and your last one and enjoyed both of them so very much! Thanks for sharing! (PS....I live about 1 1/2 hours east of Knoxville so I'm not too far from your daughter...loved the wedding pics too by the way)

I'm so happy I didn't miss too many updates while gone. I was at MK on Thursday and it was n ice taking the walk with you again and reliving some of the things I had just done myself.

I love those elephants playing in the fountain on the JC! I love the pressed pennies, I have a couple of them, I should make it a point to do more next trip, I hear they have books to keep them in.
