jumping back in

decided to jump back in again-

i have been on ww and atkins- i always loose alot ( 20 lbs than loose interest and gain most back

though i am 10 lbs lighter than i was last year at this tiem

i'm 40 yrs old , 5'9" and currently weigh 173.
my goal is 140

i want to loose weight mainly for health reasons- i've been on blood pressure meds for 2 years - and would really love to be off them if possible.

i really do not want to join a wieght loss program- i want to figure what works out best for myself-
i have the following goals-

drink 6 glasses of h20 a day
exercize aerobically 30 minutes a day
and with train 3x a week

do not watch tv during the day-
and limit my time on the computer to 1 hr a day.

has any one had luck loosing weight on their own withou t following a set program??/

I am in the same boat as you!

I am making losing weight my number one goal. I hope to lose 50 pounds by next year using the same strategies.

I find eating mini meals works well. My biggest downfall is reaching for food without thinking about it.

I also drink crystal light with my water. I sort of water down the crystal light so it has a splash of flavor.

That sounds like a great plan you have there! I'm not following a set plan, per se either, but I think what you've written will work! Best of luck to you and welcome to WISH!
