Never thought I'd be saying this, but today I ran 70 minutes on the treadmill for National Running Day. A couple of months ago, this would have been a crazy though for me.....I can't believe C25K actually worked!
60 min at the gym: weights and (finally) a short run! Foot feels good, lungs felt good, knees felt good. Thank goodness! A bad post-race registration run would have been disheartening.....
I forget my total for the month. Will be back to edit!
Still keeping to the warmup, strengthening and elliptical. Some days it takes longer or I stay on the elliptical longer.
So Tues 55 min; Wed 60 min watching the Bruins, which made things easy; today 70 minutes, which was great because I was tempted to take the day off.
