Back from the most magical place on Earth :( Happy to be back to exercising though. Standing on my feet and walking all day doesn't count for me even though it is tiring. Oh, maybe I should count the "walking with purpose" at rope drop to get FastPasses for Space Mountain...or the full out run in the Atlanta airport when our first flight was delayed and we landed 10 minutes before our next flight was leaving. For those of you that know the Atlanta airport, we landed in Terminal B and needed to run to Terminal T, and to top things off, the tram left just as we were running down the stairs. It's extra difficult to run while pulling a rolling carry-one bag and having a bag on each shoulder. I'm sure I was a sight. Anyway, I slept in this morning and saved the gym for this evening. An hour WERQ class and an hour YogaFit class bring me to:

ugh. B to T is brutal! We have a flight in August with a 50 min layover and I am anticipating something similar--since I am sure we will not be on time! I debated booking it cause of the short layover, but decided to live dangerously. ;)
My DS got in late to Charlotte one night when he was a college freshman. He was meeting us at WDW and if he didn't make his connection he would have been stuck over night in the airport. The night before they had a little too much "fun" and decided to get mohawks. He was in flip flops, so he had to take his shoes off and sprint through the Charlotte airport bare foot with a mohawk. Lugging a backpack and a carry on. Just hearing him tell the story, we were all howling.:lmao: He said people were looking at him like he was crazy.

I have yoga meltdown. It is deceivingly hard! And its my "bad luck" video as I always manage to hurt myself doing it! But it is a good one.

What is BeFit? I could use some new videos. Especially Pilates.

BeFit is AWESOME!! Just found it last week, but realized I had been using it all along because some of the Shed and Shred workouts were on there, they are a youtube 'channel' that has hundreds if not thousands of workouts for you to view online...they have a 90 day program where they choose the workouts each day for you, but I honestly am really picky on workouts...I just go to their site and pick which workouts have been viewed over a million times, I figure they're 5 star workouts :)

Yes! I can see an injury pop out of this Yoga Meltdown!! I still have about 30 extra pounds on me so I have more resistance and less tricep build than they do, but it is really stretching out all those tight muscles that try to draw up from my 5k training...I want to be elastic and fit :) I felt like I had a 'shin splint' kind of injury just from day one but it was the muscle that runs along the outside of your calf just above the ankle...today when I did the sideways oblique plank twist thingie, I realized I had not balanced the weight on both feet as I extended one arm up and probably stretched that muscle pretty good..it'll take a few days for the soreness to leave but it feels better already having done it correctly now! :)

Realized the workout is 35 minutes not 30, so I'm claiming the extra 5 I forgot to add yesterday! HA!

Today, 30 minute swim, one hour walk/run and 35 (+ 5 from yesterday) brings me up to 810/2000

I measure on the 15th! Can't wait to share that with you losers!! :) These workouts have really helped shrink me! :)

Only got two miles in today before I was forced to cut it short due to downpours.

21 minute run

5 minute warm up / cool down

docked myself 10 minutes for lack of focus so I am only crediting myself with 55 minutes today. I am on call for work so have to keep an eye on the pager and cell, which is fine; I am used to it. However I had to get a new phone today and incoming calls, texts e-mails all work; but when I call out the connection goes through but neither of us can hear the other. Not good. Usually when I get paged I can take a quick break, settle things and finish the workout before I have to go. But tonight I couldn't do it and it knocked me all out of sorts. Oh....technology. :sad2: Back to the phone store tomorrow to get this straightened out.

Hope you WISH peeps continue to keep working; I appreciate the support :thumbsup2
