July Exercise Challenge - Let's Beat the Summer Heat - 35 challengers so far!

I went for a 7 Mile run/walk with my brother this morning. That combined with warming up and stretching that added 130 mins.

That brings me to 500/1200. I'm getting there.
 
I feel like a slacker...I usually get 2 hours in on Saturday but only an hour for me today :sad:

Happy Saturday everyone! Did 75 minutes on the elliptical today. This brings me to :

Whoo Hoo! I am so proud of myself. I guess I should have set a higher goal, but since I was just starting back to working out after a long hiatus I wasn't sure what I could do. Now I'm excited to see how much I CAN do!

Had a 45 minute taekwondo class yesterday and went for my first 10 mile run this morning (128 minutes including my cool down walk).

Total now: 1312/1600 - past 75%!

Howard and I just got back from a gloriously relaxing and romantic week in Jamaica. We stayed at a cliffside resort where you took stone steps to get everywhere. We were in a penthouse suite, so it was a gazillion steps down to the beach & pool and steps up to the office, internet cafe and one of the restaurants and the bar. We walked so much! I also did a couple of water aerobics classes and a piloxing class, which was awesome.

I had 485 additional minutes this week, bringing my new total to 1090/1200. :)

I'm looking forward to getting back into my regular workout routine this week.

Yesterday I went to the park with a 2 yr old whose favorite game is solely called "run", so I'm counting that for 30 minutes. Plus we walked around some trails at the park as well.

Today I went for another run with my brother (he's been a great motivator this week) warmup/run/walk totaling 105 minutes plus 30 minutes of strength training. So that brings me to 135 minutes for today and all before 9 am!:hyper:

I'm feeling really motivated today and the weather is supposed to be gorgeous so I still might try to get some more exercise in there.

So adding 165 to my total to make a new grand total of... 665/1200
 
DH and I made it to the park on Saturday morning for our long run (intervals) of 65 minutes, which brings my total to 230/500!!

I should reach my goal by the end of the week! Good thing, too because DH has next week off and I'm not sure what our plans/schedule will look like.

Congrats to those who have reached goal. Some people are really close and everybody is still moving. Great job!!!
 
An hour at my Werq class brings me to

1950/1680

Would love to make it to a class tonight but it looks like I'll be running kids around...oh well, hopefully I can get 2 hours in tomorrow.
 
This morning I had:
15 minutes elliptical
45 minutes personal training with Killer Kyle (kettle bells & pushups - EEK!)
40 minutes stationary bike

100 minutes brings me to 1190/1200. :)
 
Last night got 105 minutes walking plus 10 minutes stretching so that's

1135/1000

Today was difficult run/walk just got tired really quickly. I did work 12 hr shifts this weekend and maybe didn't eat enough.:confused3

30 mins this morning and a long nap this afternoon. :lmao:
