Headed out to the park last night for 40 more minutes of running/walking. That should bring my total to 270/500!
I haven't done anything in a week. I have been letting stress get the better of me and have been slacking off and eating terrible! I only went to the gym twice last week.
To top it off Monday night I get a muscle spasm in my back. A few hours at urgent care yesterday and I have a bag of pain killers and muscle relaxers that are not doing to much for me. Love the free Military health care but why do they issue Motrin for everything???
Anyhow, no new minutes to add. I am going to try to get in some walking if I can handle it.
So after my rough day on monday I took it easy and didn't do anything yesterday as I was still tired. Today I felt much better and was able to do my run/walk.
I was able to run 1:30 walk 1:30 for the entire 30 min.![]()
AND I was able to keep it to a 17 min mile average. Of course I was finished by the end of the 30 min but I know it will get better and I will be able to run longer. I better since I signed up for the Tinkerbell 1/2 in January
Since I work my 12 hr shifts the next 2 days I spent 20 min doing some leg and upperbody strengthing exercises. Thanks to Coach for the recommendations on another thread.
So with my warmup and cooldown that makes me at 755/620.
