Good to hear from you. You know, the problem with continuing on indefinitely when you're "on a roll" is that eventually you roll right of the edge of a mountain. I figure I can get away with one public crack every couple of weeks or so (I have a lot more leeway with private cracks).

I have just been informed that I will be serving as the "official" pre-cruise meet photographer. I shall endeavor to get good photos of everyone there and post them on a Web Page that we have for our daughter (it keeps the east coast relatives happy). That way, we’ll be able to recognize each other by the time we get to the cruise.

Any one who can’t come to the meet and wants to send me a jpeg to be included in the photo collection, please include any captioning you want for the pictures when you send it. Once we have everything collected, I’ll post the web page with the photos

I think this must be one of those weekends where everyone is doing things. We're in Lancaster at a (surprise) soccer tournament, so we haven't been online much at all.
However, I still fully expect I'll be "on the hook" by the time we sail. There will be a phase within this thread, starting sometime in late May and going until late June, when otherwise reasonable and rational adults turn into worried, raving lunatics . Yes, folks, I'm talking about the "Where Are My Docs?" phase of the thread. During that time, every one of us will be posting multiple times per day, ranting about the docs and how we don't have them, threatening to call DCL, cursing the FedEx guy who has clearly been derelict in his duties by not bringing the docs, etc.

The 80 posts/day that this phase normally produces should make up for the days early in the thread when posting was "light".

Hey everyone!!! I hope everyone has a great time at the DL meet. I'm sorry I can't be there.... I just have to tell everyone how AWESOME my wireless network is in my house! I spent most of the day today setting it up, it's wonderful to sit in the family room on the laptop!! I also set up the kids computer in the basement, so they're no longer hogging my PC. They can play nickjr.com and playhousedisney.com downstairs now!! We bought the laptop and network yesterday so the kids could use it to watch movies during the 5 1/2 hour flight to/from LAX. We were going to buy a portable DVD player, but anything with a decent screen size was about $300 or so, it just made sense to make the investment in a laptop! Bigger screen, and surfing capabilities from my couch!! Now, I'll have even more time to surf, since I can do it basically anywhere now!!! This is pretty cool!

Good for you Lori, a better screen for watching DVD on long flights I a real plus make sure you get decent headphones. The other big plus is for digital photos you don't have to worry about running out of memory in the camera, and you can do all your editing while on your trip.

I know how you feel--liberated!!! I've been wireless for a while (took some doing to get everything set up so that the whole house, pool-side included, was covered by the wireless router). It's tough to imagine not being able to sit in the family room watching TV and surfing the Web and postin' to the DIS.

Are you sure you can't sneak out to the Rainforest Cafe and join us for lunch? Tell your DH you're going grocery shopping or something, and when you return on Tuesday night, just say the lines were rrrreeeaaallllyyy long!!

Oh, well, that sounds silly, even to me. We look forward to meeting you when you get out here in July.

Speaking of which, is it July yet??? If it is, where are my docs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Touche', Sara. And you're right--I will not "whine" about docs until June. Prior to that, though, I reserve the right to "question" the status of my docs, even in February when I'm just dreaming of it being July.

As a point of reference, you'll know I'm whining when you see me post something like:
